章 103: Girlfriends

After the phone call with Kat, Dan couldn't help having a funny feeling in the pit of his stomach. Kat's call had only helped to confirm his original Intuition. Somehow he had known that the lost city had something to do with him, even though none of it made sense to him. What was his relationship with the lost city? Were his ancestors from there? Why was it coming up now? Did this have anything to do with meeting Bella and the feeling of déjà vu he was having? Was it possible all of this was just a coincidence? Who was that person in the painting? Dan kept asking himself. 

"What is wrong?" Bella asked in alarm when she observed the deep lines of concentration etched on Dan's face as he drove and the way he was gripping so tightly to the steering wheel to the extent that his knuckles were white.

"Dan?" Bella called when Dan failed to respond to her question. 

"Dan!" She yelled this time, startling Dan and jolting him back to his senses.
