What had he been thinking? Of course, there was no way his male personal assistant could be the same as that feisty female he had met some weeks ago. Perhaps he was thinking they looked alike because they shared similar characters and animosity towards him. 

Dan shook his head as he looked into her face but noticed that her eyes were averted, "Do I make you uncomfortable?" He asked, raising a brow at the tiny voice she had just used. 

'Was that my voice I just heard? Sweet Jesus and his holy angels!' Bella said to herself as she cleared her throat and decided to try again in a firmer tone.

"I'm sure anyone would be uncomfortable if they opened their eyes to see you standing this close to them and peering into their face in that manner," Bella managed to say. 

When had he come there? What had he been doing looking at her like that? Had her cover been blown? Different thoughts passed through Bella's mind as she prayed for him to move away from her.
