"What was that about?" Claire asked Dan with a frown as she watched Patrick storm out.

"I guess it's just one of Trick's usual mood swings. He will be fine," Dan assured his mother with a dismissive sweep of his hands.

"I raised Patrick the same way I raised you, remember? What did you do to annoy him this much?" Claire asked in distress, forgetting that Bella was still in the office.
