"I just have one more question," Vanilla said, putting her cup of wine back on the desk. She stretched her hands and yawned.

"You can ask me anything," The patriarch responded. "I will be glad to answer."

"How do you know all of this?" She raised one of her black eyebrows. "How can we be sure that you aren't just inventing all of this for your own benefit?" 

She looked at Rowie and the mildly drunk Cookie. Both nodded in agreement with her, pressuring him to respond with their combined stares.

"Vanilla, is not the existence of the Sacred Chamber an obvious thing?" The man responded. "Your master, Nihil, desires you to find it. The only reason they brought you back is so you can use it. I am sure that contractor gave you the task of locating it, or even Nihil himself."
