We left La Trinidad with my mother's remains, and I boarded the plane together with my mom Esmeralda with a happy face knowing that my biological mother will finally come home to San Antonio. I know it was her greatest dream to come home, but she was afraid of what will be her life, knowing the love of her life is already happily married to someone else. I am hugging my mother's journal on my chest, and I am excited to read her entries, but at some point, I don't want to know her suffering, but reading her diary would be the only reason that I will become closer to her.
