"I wished we could get along well just like you said," Stephanie said acting like she was being forced to talk.

An enemy of a friend is an enemy, there are no two ways about it. I can't just stand and watch another woman snatch the man my best friend loves without putting on a strong fight.

Stephanie thought just to justify her behaviour.

"Isn't she the same lady who interrupted our sweet moment earlier this morning? Won't you at least introduce me to her?" Abigail said looking in the direction of Gabrielle. Charlie did as she wanted. They both approached where Gabrielle and Vincent were standing. Gabrielle who saw them approaching her direction pretended to be engrossed in buying the necklace which just caught her attention. The way she acted further proves Vincent's guess right.
