章 53: Away for a While

Timothy's POV

It was getting dark, and Gina was still not home yet. To say I was worried sick would be an understatement. She was supposed to cook dinner, but if she was going to be late, I might as well do it. I glanced at the clock numerous times while cooking, so much that I might have compromised the taste of the food I made. 'What was going on? Why isn't she home yet?' is all I could think of.

"Daddy, my teacher asked you and mom to meet her. It's a meeting." She called out from the bedroom and informed me.

"Okay sweetie! I will take a day off and go there" I assured her.

It was almost 11 o'clock, and she still there was no sign of her. I was starting to get worried if something bad happened to her on the way. Just what kind of urgent business she had to take care of on a Sunday? Momo was starting to feel sleepy, and it was a school night, so I fed her by myself and waited for Gina.
