Her sudden outburst startled me. However her interest in finally helping me did lift up my mood. It was nice having her support. It was so ironic of her to help me that it kind of made me feel like I had earned it.
"Thanks for helping me but what are you planning on doing?" I asked her.
"Well, it's pretty simple. We will move to Waterwest City." she said as she folded her hands.
"But how? We live here, this is your place. How can we just leave this place and move there?" Ken asked her.
"Leave that up-to me. We will leave as soon as the sun comes up. Be ready, I don't like to wait." She left after saying that.
As soon as I heard the birds chirping, I went downstairs. I didn't really have any clothes to pack neither did I needed to do so; all I needed to pack was this diary of mine.
"Great, you are going empty handed." Ken who had a moderate sized bag with him snickered.
"Well, I don't have many belongings so close to my heart like you. So... Yeah, empty handed it is." I shrugged. "Are those real stuff? Can human see them?" I titled my head as I asked him.
"No, don't be ridiculous." He rolled his eyes at me.
I shook my head, before I noticed Margaret coming at the door. Even she had less stuff than Ken.
"So, how are we going there? I mean we took a car last time. It's a really long route." Ken asked her.
"You two are taking the bus. Whereas, I will be using the renowned method of teleportation." She smirked.
"What?! You are going to abandon us like that?" he made puppy eyes at her. She didn't reply him but she did look at him expressionlessly for a moment.
When we were about to leave there was a knock outside. I opened the door revealing Oliver.
"Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked me while clearly trying to avoid Margaret's eyes.
"This might not be a good time. We were actually about to leave." I told him.
"Oh. You guys are going somewhere?" He was taken aback by my situation.
"That is none of your business" Margaret came up from behind me and stood next to me in the door frame.
"Hey, Marge" He said awkwardly.
"You are not allowed to call me that." she glared at him as she spit out those words.
"Anyways... it's really important. I swear it won't take much time." Oliver turned to me as he spoke.
"Okay... Go ahead. I'm listening." I told him
"So, last night I tried doing a background check on this woman, who claims to be Virginia. First I tried what I did with Timothy. I tried social media and everything. But of course nothing popped up, so I decided to run a police search. Unfortunately none from the database matched. I thought maybe that's because she doesn't live here, so I tried other precincts. But I couldn't find her anywhere." he shrugged. "Maybe because she is just a civilian, but I didn't want to assume everything."
"That's...really odd." I scrunched my eyebrows.
"Yes, well I still didn't give up. Get this, I found a profile named Virginia Stone, and that was a classified file. I couldn't check that."
"And you think it's the same Virginia?" I asked him
"Well, it's not impossible. Given how shady things are around you, or her. There has to be a reason you guys look exactly alike. Of course I think because you are twins. Also it's not like we know her maiden name. It could be Stone." he shrugged.
"I don't know, it sounds quiet far fetched. Although if you are right, it makes her even more suspicious." I told him.
"Yeah, so I was thinking when we go there next time. Maybe we check into that more. I think we should follow her." he suggested.
"Oh, we're actually going there right now. All of us are kind of moving into the city." I told him.
"Oh, like moving for real? right now?" he was surprised before his face developed a tiny hint of frown.
"Yes." I shrugged awkwardly. "Possibly its a long stay situation."
"Oh. I thought, maybe, I would help you further, in case you needed it. But I guess you're good to go. See you." he said with a gloomy expression as he was about to leave.
"Wait!" I grasped his hand as I stopped him. "Come with us." I offered. He did help us a lot, plus he worked all night on my case. I felt bad for refusing him.
"What!"Margaret almost shouted.
"I don't think she will like that." Oliver shrugged.
"Please Margaret. He helped us a lot, believe me he can be an asset to our search." I plead her.
She turned to Oliver and said "Look kid, I don't have a problem with you, but I heard who you guys ran into last time. I know Carter keeps following you and I'm not very comfortable with him." Margaret sighed.
"I'll keep check on that. Please let me come!" even Oliver requested this time.
She looked at me and Ken, saw both of our anticipating look hoping Oliver would join us She sighed beforeshe said "Do whatever you want. Take the bus, meet me at 95A Whitmore street." And she disappeared.
I stared for a moment at the empty space she just left before turning to look at Ken then Oliver "So, is she there already? Or does it take time?" I asked them
"It doesn't. I mean that's why teleportation is preferred. I can't do it that far unfortunately, and you guys can't do it at all, unless your episode counts so… lets go." He said as he locked the place and we headed off.
On the bus I asked them "What happens if someone finds an empty seat and sits on us?"
"Then nothing happens. They pass right through you. It will make us uncomfortable though. If it were me, I'd just stand up." He shrugged. Oliver snorted at the response.
In bus it took us even much longer. I can't believe I'm doing this journey two days in a row. It was quiet troublesome. Once we reached our destination, we found Margaret coming to the stop as if she knew we would exactly be in this bus. After we got down from the bus, she motioned us to follow her without saying anything.
