To Apollyon, the Vampire Realm, his own Kingdom, was unrecognizable.

It was plainer and more desolate than it should have been as if it had experienced some kind of a catastrophe from years before and he still couldn't determine the exact cause.

The unsolvable mystery caused a ball of dread to drop at the pit of his stomach.

In his mind, Apollyon felt like he was falling and there was no one to catch him.
