章 30: Nothing Interesting
After their first time as lovers both Hiko and Nojiko were too lazy to do anything for the rest of the day. Both stayed in bed together enjoying each other's company. They would have stayed that way if not for the sound of a cannon firing and impacting the water next to the ship shattered the serenity of the moment.
Sighing Hiko left the bed and started to dress, " I'll take care of this, I hope they have some food or treasure otherwise things aren't going to be pretty. " Looking across the ocean Hiko set his sights on a ship, looking at it closer Hiko recognized the insignia on the ship a skull with an hourglass on each side.
" Don Krieg, but it isn't his main ship I wouldn't mind collecting the bounty of his head. " Grinning in excitement Hiko launched himself into the water. Not trying to be silent Hiko moved like a torpedo crashing into the hull of the ship, everyone on board was trying to figure out what was going on when the water next to them exploded, stepping on to the deck Hiko glared at the various figures on board.
Hiko immediately became the focus of the pirate's weapons, for a solid five seconds Don Krieg's pirates fired bullet after bullet at Hiko.
Eventually, the pirates stopped firing seeing that their bullets had no effect, thus they started to rush him drawing their various swords and melee weapons. Before they could close the distance Hiko moved, it was time to grind his skills.
After five minutes all sounds of fighting on the ship stopped, Hiko was standing in the middle of a massacre every person on board wasn't safe from Hiko as he used his pinpoint jab to target the eyes, groin, and joints of every pirate.

Before leaving Hiko engraved his symbol on the ship and looted every piece of cargo on board using his newly bought storage ring. The small thing had all of his 1250 newly gained credits, ' I need to find a way to grind strong pirates are two far and few. There no reason to eat a human either, I need a plentiful source of strong prey I can readily eat. ' leaving the ship Hiko found that Nami was out of bead and had started to train for the day.
" Was there anything good on board. " Shrugging Hiko sighed, " Only 300,000 berries they don't they're not even a challenge anymore so there's barely any point. " Grinning Nami broke out of Hiko's grasp as she started to train again, the next four days passed in relative silence and ease. The only stop they took along the way was to drop Buggy off Shelltown, he almost killed Captain Morgan but he needed the man alive to sign off on the bounty and he didn't want to become an enemy of the Marines so soon.
Nami went into overdrive with her training as the day she would confront the man who ruined her life drew closer and closer. Hiko was a little worried about Nami overworking herself but she assured Hiko that she was fine and would stop one day before they arrived at Cocoyasi Village. Since regular training had stopped being profitable, with nothing else to do Hiko found himself browsing the system store. Most of the items were either too expensive or were of no use.
