章 17: Summary of Events in Overlord Arc (I)
So first was spreading of influence in the Re-Estize kingdom. Corruption of few nobles and learning information from them. Creating Thieves guild(as mercenaries for assassination and for gathering Info.). After that, I went onto getting spies to the Baharut Empire. Which was harder as we didn't have any influence there.
While that was happening I sent out the twins to look for some new beasts and races. They found lizardmen/women, dragons, dragon-newts/half-dragons, dark elves, elven kingdom, and dwarf kingdom.
When we finally established spies and another branch of the Thieves Guild in the Baharut Empire. I sent Demiurge who was disguised as the Leader of the Thieves Guild to start making connections and corrupting nobles and merchants there. After that, all we needed to do was create a crisis that would force the Emperors Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix hand to skip the Annual war this one time which would make him look weak so the nobles would go to Demigure for help in overthrowing the emperor and after collecting enough evidence he would go to present it to him so he could get close to him.
Since helping him destroy that plot and killing the corrupted nobles there would be at least some gratitude there to use.
Then it will be easy to corrupt him.
Meanwhile, I tried creating some new magic and after few months I succeeded. I created Darkness corruption a new version of my corruption only this version not only corrupts the mind but the body too. I first tried it on few soldiers I captured.
I can say I'm satisfied I can only hope to see what it will do to someone like the Emperor. Anyway, I sent a few shadow summons to spy on the lizardmen.

The Lizardmen were taken care of pretty fast. I didn't kill them. I just invited the village chiefs to prepare their fighters and if they could defeat my fighter I would let them be free (which I wouldn't cause they would most likely cause trouble) but if they lost they would become my subjects. So after deliberating for a while I chose Cocytus as my fighter.
It didn't take much time for Cocytus to win but they did surprise by how valiantly they fought and their determination to win. They are a surprisingly good workforce be it builders farmers or fisherman.
Next were the dragons they were something else I had to go into the main nest and beat their king into submission. He was really resilient and lasted longer than expected. When that was done the rest submitted and I moved onto my next target the Half-dragons. They were separated into classes low-class, middle-class, High-class, and they were ruled by a High-class Queen.
Their society was based around worshiping the dragons so after I already subjugated the dragons. The half-dragons surrender themselves to me as their lord. To tell the truth, I never expected this to be so easy.

Now back to the Baharut Empire it finally came time to use the corruption magic on the Emperor and the Court mage Fluder Paradyne. And it was f/cking perfect. Ohh I never expected something quite like this. But it was a pleasant surprise.
After the corruption was done the Emperor made an announcement (they're under illusion magic so they look the same)of them supporting the creation of a new empire The Mordo Empire(will change this just didn't know what to name it at this time will take suggestions).
To my surprise there wasn't much protest I think people were sold by the fact that the Empire territory was at the Re-Estize kingdom.

In the Re-Estize kingdom meanwhile, we managed to start a civil war by once again using the corrupt and stupid nobles. This time we didn't need to even to corrupt them.
When the fight got to the Royal capital. I swooped in in my Arb persona and saved the royal family. Even though I don't think they needed saving.
I spouted bullshit like I was a noble of a long-gone family and such.
So the king wanted to reward me and to strengthen the kingdom so he said that I could choose territory so I chose E-Rantel the Katze Plains and the village I saved. He reluctantly agreed since he didn't want to risk another conflict.
First I would build at least one more city in the territory and strengthen the economy there before establishing my empire.
Oh, this would be fun. I think It's time to start raising and training an army.
