章 281: Chapter 281 : A Privladge & Inconvience

"Are you hurt somewhere?" Xiao Liu asked gently as they entered his chambers. He shook his head as he put the crystal sword on the side table and she saw Dong Hai closing his eyes. Though his face remains as emotionless as ever, he doesn't see unaffected as it appears. Xiao Liu snaked her arms on his torso from behind, pressing her cheeks on his back and Dong Hai let out a sigh feeling the kind of peace he never knew.

"You are sad," She said, Dong Hai gave a half-smile and turned to embrace her, holding her near his heart. 

"How can I be sad? I don't know what it is like to lose a parent," he never had any. Dong Hai's words saddened Xiao Liu more, it was a pang to her heart realizing there would have been no one who had cared for him when he was little, how he must have grown up on his own?
