章 6: Chp 6:Explain
Lucas's POV:
My eyelids were heavy and my neck ached with stabbing pain. I slowly dragged my eyes open and peeked around the room. It was quite the simplistic room with a bed, wardrobe, tv on the wall and a desk. Clearly no one decided to really decorate. 'Wait where am I?' flashes of last night's attack flooded back into my memory. 'I was attacked by some rogue vampire and he bit my neck.'
I slid my fingers across my bandaged wound. "huh, every things all cleaned up" I spoke aloud. 'Wait who bandaged me up and brought me here?' Just as I was thinking of the candidates for who a certain someone walked in.
"What do you want?" I hissed
'I know he hasn't actually done anything to me but lick my neck, but still he scared me. I trusted him and asked a favour from him and he attempted to attack me.'
'Although hes probably responsible for saving me from that vampire and the reason I'm still alive. I still can't trust him. Not after what hes done.'
"I wanted to apologize, I know what I did must have scared you and I had no right to do that to you. I am deeply sorry for my mistakes and I wish to make it up to you." Evan rambaled on.
'At least hes sorry, and didn't take it too far but still, hes right it terrifies me that I had no power against him and he had full control of that situation. It makes me mad at how weak I am against him, a vampire. Speaking of which he still hasn't fully explained what happened exactly.'
"Explain." I say curtly.
"what? explain what?"
"Explain why you pinned me down, whispered taunts into my ear, licked my neck, made me cry, let me go and then save me. Explain."
"What happened to the other guy who attacked me? how did I end up here?"
"And what's with the glowing red eyes and massive fangs, are you a vampire or something?"
He looked lost for words after I demanded a explanation. 'What did he expect, He's a vampire isn't he? shouldn't he at least explain the glowing eyes and massive fangs.'
"I-uh.... I am indeed a vampire, I attacked you because you looked delicious but then I realized that I didn't actually want to hurt you so I let you go. And I got rid of the guy who hurt you last night and brought you to my apartment."
"You realized you didn't want to hurt me?" I questioned.
His face looked uneasy and then a slight blush arose from his cheeks. 'What the hell is he thinking about, blushing like that?'
"I find you quite interesting and I believe I have what humans call 'romantic feelings' for you." Evan confessed.
"What..?..."
"I find you extremely adorable in everything you do and I was actually worried for you when you left last night. So the only solution that makes any sense is 'feelings'."
'Did a vampire just confess to me? Did Evan just confess to me? Did my neighbor, who's a vampire just confess to me?
