The hall of the castle was soundless. The eyes of the people were glaring at Cressida. With the dagger in one hand, she looked at the King of the South, exiting the door of the palace following by Vidarr and the King of the West. Her eyes were at Vidarr, her gaze moved along with him as he walked out. The way he looked at her and the aura around him felt familiar to her. There was something about him, that was drawing her towards him. Jerking her by her hand Lycoan turned her to face him.
"You lied." He said. There were emotions in his eyes. Ever since she saw him, his eyes were dark and emotionless. But today they were different.
"I didn't," Cressida said in a stern manner.
Tightening his grip on her arm, he glared at her angrily. Cressida was the only girl he found different from others. She was less feminine and least alluring. For a moment he trusted her. After knowing her identity and seeing her act, the little trust broke before it could build.
