Xiao Cheng did not understand the words between his mother and mom but he still understood that they were in a bad mood compared to earlier. Hence he decided to dissipate the invisible tension between them and looked at his mother, "Mother, did you try that dish before? Mom makes that the best. I like it so much."

The childish voice instantly dissipated the tension in the dining hall and everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they continued eating.

Shao Rong ruffled his head while smiling at him, "That is one of my favorite dishes, Xiao Cheng. Your mom learned it because I forced her to do so. Did she ever tell you that?"
