"It seems the time grows near Mister."
Jarvis opened his eyes and looked about casually. Eventually his eyes drifted towards a strange blot in the distance. It moved about like it was alive but lacked any coordination. Pushing himself to his feet he stared at the blot, "I'd have to agree with you, Akiol managed to convince a number of people."
This blot was actually thousands of moving entities in the distance! Players from the top Guilds, and Torch's unwavering mechanical army moved together. Kiro watched this and commented, "He has an influence enough to tackle the greatest of empires."
"You should've seen what he was capable of before."
"There was more?"
"I'll tell you the story another time. The rest should be arriving. Shall we join them?"
Kiro nodded and moved behind Jarvis. Raising his palms to his face he blew a sharp whistle. In the air a visual explosion formed, drawing the attention of a few in the large crowd.
Kan'na, who was among the first to gather, watched the explosion and faintly smiled. Raising a finger towards the explosion a complex Magic Concatenation formed instantly. A ball shot forward into the air and hovered at the explosion. The next moment several magic circles appeared around Kan'na. Lines of magic moved showing Jarvis and Kiro.
Jarvis frowned upon seeing the change in scenery, "Are you copying Yielya now?"
Focusing his gaze towards Kan'na he sucked in a breath. Feeling the way Mana was circling around her in a synchronized dance. It was mesmerizing. The fact that his perfected Mana control fell short did not go unnoticed.
Changing his tone he corrected his previous statement, "Is it safe to say you've come close to that dream of yours?"
A brighter smile formed as Kan'na replied, "I've achieved it."
"I. . . Congratulations! My words fall short."
"Thank you. Celebration is for another time. Are you aware of who has arrived?"
"I can recognize a few, but I can't accurately guess."
"Here, I've recorded who arrived."
It was time for introductions! The army Akiol had amassed for this battle. Starting with the largest of numbers, Torch's mechanical army! With 7,000 units of standard mechanical soldiers. 3,000 units of Model Calvary mechanical soldiers. Additionally a total of 5,000 miscellaneous Model mechanical soldiers, designed to fulfill various niche roles on the battlefield. Split between 12 squadrons, each being led by a giant mech. The 12 seats of the round table, Torch's ace card! With Torch himself leading the battle, he alone provided a huge boost to the fighting force.
Next was the Guilds! Reverence had convinced the top Guilds in participating, and their total combined forces of Players was rounded to 8,700. Including their own Elites, and the Guild Leaders themselves!
In pure raw force Akiol's army was 23,700 strong! However these were the bulk, their task was to take on the brunt of the unwavering undead. For the commanders an Elite force was tasked.
Consisting of Determined Souls and Bakery Basics, Akiol recruited the most unique he found from the professional competition. Additionally there was some familiar faces from The Gated Arena!
Having fought together with the South Province, Yuto and Ninn! A sinister scythe cling to Yuto's back giving off an edgy vibe. Yet it still fell short to the feeling of the dead ground. Ninn stood nearby flipping a small knife within her fingers. Tossing it upwards she let it flip a few times before catching it with ease. With a show of sleight of hand the singular dagger morphed into several. A more familiar face from the Gated Arena also stuck around: Igneel! His prowess, along with Umin's otherworldly ability, was something that always stood out to Akiol. Further proving himself against the Chimeras it seemed natural to extend an invite.
The cream of the crop, the best Akiol could think of! This was, without a shred of doubt, the largest and strongest group of players A World's Legacy has ever seen gather!
Additionally, another figure appeared without Akiol's invite. Wielding two swords, one of black and the other of white, he stood a large distance away.
"Now look at this, they're planning to strike against the undead?", a ghost manifested and overlooked the gathering.
Travis narrowed his eyes while searching for the outstanding among the crowd, "It's fruitless. They lack the strength."
Averoth smiled, "Not so sure about that one. One person stands out in particular."
"Who?"
Averoth's finger moved towards a point away from the large gathering, "Check the Framework."
< Unparalleled Dimensional Magician raises her eyebrow at you >
Travis immediately understood the weight of the Epithet. Third Stage was known as the condensed Stage. Taking all you earned and learned and condensing to further your strength. All of it was given a single name, deemed an Epithet. You could tell the weight of a person's strength by the words used in their Epithet.
For example: Travis' Epithet used "Inheritor". Inheritor was a word used exclusively for pre existing powers. If you came across an Epithet with that word, you would know they had a substantial force backing their growth. Thus Travis' Epithet revealed he had two powers behind him. These were Holy and Abyss, but it wasn't revealed through the Epithet.
To have the word Unparalleled meant you had to be undisputed in a category. Similar to that of Martial Lord or Sword Saint. However the other two following words confused Travis for a moment.
Dimensional meant power that transcends dimensions. This should be impossible at Third Stage. So perhaps it meant technique? Additionally Magician was a common word, but for it to have Unparalleled to describe it would put it at the same level as Sword Saint. If Travis remembered right, the title of the number one magician was Arcane Magus. The sole individual who overlooked the Marks of Arcane.
Does that mean the Epithet meant it wasn't the magician aspect that was unparalleled, but rather the dimension?
Travis attempted to find this Unparalleled Dimensional Magician to use his Eyes of Trinity, but failed to single out a target. So instead he sent a message back instead.
< Dualistic Inheritor acknowledges the Epithet's might >
< Unparalleled Dimensional Magician expresses dislike towards Dualist Inheritor's actions >
"Ha, you got rejected kid."
Travis ignored the comment and instead focused on the Framework. Eyeing for potential Epithets he immediately found another.
"One with Prophecy in it? Just who is here?"
"Like I said, not a fruitless attempt. I even praise it. They stand a fighting chance I must say."
"Still, who in the world could gather such a force? It's not like there's an event here. . . So it's definitely a player action."
"Another powerhouse shows themselves. This might be entertaining to watch."
A thunderous roar sounded as a dragon flew from the sky. Travis looked upwards and unexpectedly smiled, "Well. It's Opportunity."
"Honestly I never thought that God would choose someone for his blessing."
"You know which God it is?"
"Yep, but no spoilers from me."
Travis instead sent a message through the Framework.
< Dualistic Inheritor comments on the flashy entrance >
A message was received immediately after, Travis assumed they sent each other a message at the same time.
< War Driven Sadist claims she'll have her rematch >
"Damn, seems she figured out who I was."
Averoth scoffed, "The only thing that hides your presence is the mask. You're easy to identify anywhere."
"That Third Stage ascension might give me trouble. Especially with that Dragon."
"Unpopular with the ladies I see."
"Why are you making this weird."
"Because I couldn't relate."
"Alright, get back into the ring."
"Not yet, not while the main attraction appears."
Travis found his eyes moving on their own. Immediately spotting a figure approaching the crowd with no difficulty. Sucking in a cold breath he murmured, "Akiol. . ."
Grinning madly Averoth clenched his fists, "Now that's someone I want to fight! Even I can't see the depth of his technique!"
"What about the two following him?"
"They're no joke either. A Dragon with an exceptional magic. The other. . . a calamity to any world."
"One hell of a force."
Following behind Akiol was a few Elite members of Eternal Candle! Regrettably Hank was not part of this force, however the other members made up for his absence.
Powerful members have gathered for one purpose! To take on the undead!
