章 3: Chapter-3 : Plans
After following the news-coo for about 3 hours Ben finally reached an island inhabited by humans.
There were many marine ships here on standby, along with many pirate ships on the other side of the island, The island was a little small in size but was full of hustle-bustle, There were many bars, restaurants, shops all around the town.
After inquiring around a bit, he found that this was the logue town!
The place where many dreams started and the place where most of them were crushed. This was where the journey of the pirate King started and this was where it ended.
Ben already had a plan to complete his first mission, to change the current system of the world. The best way was to work in the system, understand it, and then overcome it.
His plan was fairly simple, join Marines, fastly climb up the ladder all the way up to the fleet admiral, take command over Marines fully, kill the gorosei and change the way how world government works from inside.
Then after that he can easily execute celestial dragons easily.
But for that he would have to make his reputation skyrocket throughout the world. Because if his reputation is high enough, normal people would also support him when he takes action against world government.
This was a place where many pirates started there journey, though their bounties were not more than 5 million Berri. The quantity was enough for Ben to garner attention from marine HQ and make some money.
For next 3 days, he hunted pirates like crazy, he cleaned whole logue town and 2 islands nearby off pirates, He cashed them in for a total of 240 million berri.
This was definitely enough to catch attention of the marine HQ, He was delivered a message that he was invited to join Marines at Marineford as a trainee.
He accepted the invitation, that was the reason why he cashed so many pirates. He was supposed to reach the Marineford in a month, so he still had much time on hand.
He moved to a relatively dangerous island and started his observation haki training. He blindfolded himself while plugging his ears and tried to awaken the new sense. He was attacked multiple times by animals but came out uninjured every time. He could feel that his observation haki was developing a a great rate, it won't take him more a week to fully awaken it.
He also kept up developing his techniques as well as strengthening his body. After a week, he had fully awakened his observation haki, he could sense everything in a radius of 2 meters when it was active, he still couldn't keep it up passively, but wasn't far from there.
After that he kept on activating his observation haki every minute, and due to his giant levels of spiritual energy, he could use this way of practicing.
While he did this, he also hunted pirates for money, till now, he had only encountered 2 pirates with devil fruit, which were easily solved by him, their fruits were nothing out of the ordinary, one was a insect human with features of a house fly, other was a mole human.
After Two weeks, Ben had improved very much in all his aspects, even without his armament haki, he could be counted in mid level S rank. His observation haki had a passive range of 17 metres and an active range of 51 meters.
Now, he had a week to reach the Marineford, He boarded the marine ship that was heading for there. The journey was smooth and Ben used this time to relax himself.
It took 6 and a half days to reach the Marineford. Due to the special route Marines had access to, it took way less time to reach here.
## At Marineford ##
The Marineford was a lively place. This was the safest place in the world untill an emperor attacked. Not only the fleet admiral, mostly all the Admirals and vice-admirals stayed here. This was the place where many elites took training.
Not only Marines, but even their families stayed on the island.
Ben reached the training grounds and reported to the man in charge. The man himself was a High A-ranked individual.
The man looked at files looked at Ben with a frown on his head, then stamped in the papers and handed them back.
[Report to Vice-Admiral Garp, he will look over you on training]
Ben wasn't surprised, from the power he had displayed, it was guaranteed that he will catch eyes of the big wigs, and Garp was the best marine instructor available right now. Ben took the papers with a smile on his face and moved towards.
He could now have access to Rokushiki and have someone train him on using Armament, and that 'someone' was the best the Marines had to offer. Though he would have to earn merits for Rokushiki.
