"Sir Daisuke?" Kisara asked upon seeing me turning silent.

Alwyn understood what happened though, "Did something occur outside?"

"Ah. Yes. I got informed about that nearby Chaosworld. Not to worry, it doesn't concern us yet. So, Kisara… let me see the research journal."

Although that intrigued the two of them, they trusted my words and set aside the brief communication I exchanged with Sofiel.

Kisara hurriedly went to the worn-out table of the head researcher. She pressed a button underneath it which flung open a drawer hidden in a wall.

It looked like a mechanical safe and wasn't run by any Source Energy device or electricity.

The woman then pulled out a key to open it.
