I finished off the food Joonwoo cooked and washed the dishes. Mello took a nap so I decided to check out my bedroom. This bedroom is too much. I'm afraid that I'm going to break something. And I bet these sheets costed more than my rent.
The bed is soft, huge, enough for three adults. I lay there for a couple of minutes, staring up at the ceiling.
There's a lot going on in my mind.
Well, mostly because of that annoying alpha.
His actions are weird. It's so uncomfortable. Maybe because we never had a normal conversation. We're always bickering. He would show off, being pompous. And I would yell at him.
But today we ate food together. And he...
Argh, the image of his face won't disappear from my head!
𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘨!
I sluggishly pulled my phone out and trying to see who messaged me.
I quickly changed my position to sit when I saw the message.
[ 𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘠𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯, 𝘥𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘴 ]
"Why this little-" I smiled menacingly. I quickly type my reply.
[ 𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺, ]
Then I sent it. This is embarrassing.
He remembered my bad habit of laying down after eating food. I kept getting heartburn during middle school and high school. He would mock me whenever I fell asleep after eating my lunch.
[ 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺. 𝘐𝘧 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. 𝘈𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘐 𝘢 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥? ]
"..."
That's, true. Not even my friends reminded me of my bad habit.
[ 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘵𝘩𝘹. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘬? ]
It was a sarcastic text. I blinked when I saw he immediately read it.
[ 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩. 𝘎𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘴𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 ]
"..."
This is not the reply I expected from him. I expect him to reply something like "Ew" or something. How should I reply to this? I puckered my lips, frowning a little as I write down my reply.
[ 𝘯𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘺 ]
I locked my phone after I sent that message. I sighed and glanced toward the mirror that's plastered on the wardrobe.
I widened my eyes when I saw my state.
Why... why is my face bright red?! It's completely flushed.
I put my hands on my cheeks. They're warm.
Am I— blushing?
Me?! because of him!?
"AAARGH!"
I got shivers down my spine. I quickly get up from the bed while rubbing my arms. I shivered again.
Why am I blushing?! Stop it!
I squished my own cheeks to make the blush go away. Slowly the hint of blush under my eyes disappeared. I sighed in relief.
I'm going to forget that ever happened.
After taking a shower, I saw my phone is flashing. Someone sent me a message. Is it Joonwoo? My cheeks got warmer as I grabbed my phone.
But the warmth on my face and body drained completely when I saw who's actually texted me.
