章 4: I dropped a nuke
I felt a tap on my shoulder which woke me up I looked to see It was my brother and I realized I was at school, my middle school Busch middle school of character.
I got off of the bus and went in the school and got in the line for boys.
After doing so I took off my hood which was hiding my face and almost immediately everyone starts looking at me with shocked faces even my brother's friends as it was dark earlier so they didnt get a good look at my face.
I completely ignored the faces of everyone around me and just kept moving up the line which took everyone out of their fantasies and they quickly started moving up their lines.
When I got to the front of the line I was met with a fellow black person who was a woman while wearing a police/guard outfit.
She was surprised to see my face but hid it quickly, she then had me give her my bag so she could check it.
While she was doing that I went through the metal detector and waited for her to finish, after she was finished I headed to the gym and sat on the ground behind someone and took out my book to read like most of the people in the gym.
The ones who weren't reading were 6th graders who didnt know you had to bring a book in the morning to read while the ones who had a book were the seventh and eighth graders with a select few sixth grades which include me.
As time passed the gym gradually filled until everyone was in it.
After 40 minutes of reading which I enjoyed, the principle walked into the gym and started to talk about the school.
