'If you fall in love, then you will fall. You can never resist it, the same way you can never resist the pull of the Earth's gravity, unless you went to space. You've been in space for too long, Johan. It's time you open your heart to someone else.'

Johan rested his smartphone to his chest as Russell's advice resurfaced to his memory. The call had ended five minutes ago, but Adrian's sweet voice still lingered in his inner ear like an angel's whisper, coaxing his heart not to fear falling into his warm embrace.

"Fuck! My head hurts... Urgh!"

"That's what you get for drinking too much," Johan said without turning away from the magnificent view of sunrise over Subic Bay. Sat at the rare of Alden's yacht, he continued swaying his legs under the cold seawater. "What time will we dock back to the yacht club?"

"Until you agree to come with me to Manila."
