With Ava walking away from the mansion's wine cellar, she did not even bother to even use her magic to teleport in her room. Instead, she ran up the stairs going towards her room, her tears continuing to flow from her eyes. 

She knew that she should not have left Shadow alone in the wine cellar, but she couldn't help it.

She could not bear his presence and she wanted so desperately to be away from him.

Ava felt that if she stayed longer, she would no longer be herself and would make sure that Shadow would reach his demise. 

As Ava was briskly walking towards her room with her head down, she suddenly bumped into someone, surprising her as she instinctively looked up to see who she had bumped into. 

His silver hair was slightly disheveled. His purple eyes looked worried, his eyebrows slightly creasing as his hand reached out to her face, his thumb wiping her tears away.
