章 167: It's Time

I keep my eyes closed as she continues working. I try to relax a little as my mind wanders to what's about to take place. "Okay, all done!" She lifts a small mirror, surprising me. I never got the chance to send any to them... 

Seeing my look, she smiles and says "The Chief sent them with a few larger mirrors." I smile and nod while taking the mirror. A black strip covers all the way across my eyes, from temple to temple. A smaller, thinner strip is placed over my bottom lip and down my chin. 

It looks... cool, and a tad bit creepy if I had to be honest. If I saw this popping up out of the smoke and killing people, I'd be freaked out. I look back to her and nod with approval before saying "Thank you, Loa. It looks amazing." She beams in delight but when she looks past me, I turn and see Thane walking over with similar markings.
