"They're acting really weird aren't they?" Sabrina told Alexander.
They were both at Alexander's veranda, enjoying the cool breeze.
Sitting face to face, Alexander brought out his phone and clicked on something. He placed it on the table and pushed it to Sabrina.
"It's because of this," Alexander said.
Sabrina looked at the phone and she suddenly chuckled after reading the headlines that were displayed.
"She finally did it," Sabrina said, which made Alexander raise his brow.
"You're okay?" Alexander asked Sabrina confusedly. He originally thought that Sabrina would somewhat be shocked or surprised by this, but her current reaction was nowhere near that.
"I already expected this to happen," Sabrina smiled, "Well, Ms. Valerie is really persistent on dragging me down," she said.
"You're not affected?" Alexander asked and Sabrina nodded.
"These things are normal in the entertainment industry," Sabrina smiled, "And I'm part of it, if I get affected easily by rumors like this, then I don't belong," she said.
Alexander immediately understood what Sabrina was trying to say. He admired her for her strength and toughness. Well, she's his woman after all.
She can't endure being with him if she is weak.
"So is this the reason why they all look like that downstairs?" Sabrina asked Alexander.
"Yeah," Alexander responded, "Kenzie and Grey came up with a way to get you out of this mess," he said.
"What is it?"
Alexander looked Sabrina straight in the eyes, "To reveal your identity and Director Julian's," he said.
Downstairs.
"Put down the knife Ysabel! You might hurt yourself!" Grandpa George said worriedly, "Please put the knife down," he pleaded.
"Promise me you won't reveal that bastard's identity," Ysabel said.
"Mom! You know we can't do that! It's your granddaughter we're talking about here!" Javier shouted angrily as he had enough of his mother's drama. She was always like this towards Julian.
This wasn't the first time she threatened them with her life.
That's how much she hated Julian.
"Grandma Ysabel, please listen to us," Kenzie pleaded, "If we don't reveal Director Julian's identity, people will still think that Sabrina is in a relationship with him. We have to clarify that they are relatives to clear them from public speculations," she explained.
"And then what huh? That bastard will go after the Walker Empire!" Ysabel shouted. She moved the sharp knife on her neck, creating a cut. Blood instantly flowed down from it, "I'm telling you one last time, I will cut this deeper if you continue your plan," she threatened.
"Go cut it," a voice suddenly spoke.
"Sir," Grey said.
"Boss," said Kenzie.
"I wonder why you're so persistent about this issue," Alexander walked down the stairs, "Why are you so afraid that they'll expose Julian as a Walker? I understand that he's an illegitimate child and it's natural for you to hate him. But going to such lengths as threatening your family with your life? Tell me, are you hiding something?"
Ysabel's hand suddenly trembled upon hearing what Alexander said, "W-what?" she asked nervously.
"Are you hiding something from your family Grandma Ysabel?" Alexander asked meaningfully. He walked straight to the couch and sat. He crossed his legs coolly and looked at Ysabel, "Is it something that happened 21 years ago?" he asked with a deep meaning behind it.
"What are you talking about Alexander?" Javier asked confusedly.
"You can ask your Grandma Ysabel, Dad. I want to hear it from her too," Alexander smiled then turned to look at Ysabel, "Can you tell us Grandma?"
Ysabel suddenly dropped the knife from her hand, "I… I d-don't know what you're t-talking about," she said.
"Hmmm, weird," Alexander placed his hand on his chin, "How could you forget about that?" he looked at Ysabel mockingly..
Flashback from a few days ago.
After hearing Grandpa George's story, Alexander can't remove Director Julian and Grandma Ysabel from his mind. His curiosity was too much and he needed to satisfy it.
Alexander arranged a meet up with Director Julian secretly. Not even Grey knew about it or Sabrina.
Keeping in mind what Sabrina had told Alexander about Director Julian, he wanted to take this shot.
To be a businessman, you should know how to persuade and Alexander being one, persuasion was definitely one of his many talents.
Persuasion, by any means.
Today, he plans to be straightforward with Director Julian. Sabrina had told him that he was a very nice man, maybe that was somehow still true.
"Alexander!" Director Julian called out for him as he entered the restaurant.
After seeing Director Julian, Alexander walked towards him immediately.
"Thank you for coming," Alexander said.
"No problem," Director Julian tapped Alexander on the shoulder, "So what is it you wanted to talk about," he asked.
"I won't beat around the bush Director," Alexander cleared his throat, "I know you're the one behind the attempted murders towards Sabrina," he said.
Director Julian, who just picked his coffee cup, looked at Alexander, "I don't know what you're talking about," he chuckled and then took a sip from his coffee.
"I know everything,Director Julian so there's no point in denying," Alexander straightforwardly said.
Director Julian's expression suddenly changed. His eyes darkened as he looked at Alexander, "I see," he said, "What do you want?" Julian asked him.
Alexander crossed his legs, "I want to know the story behind you and Grandma Ysabel," he said, "I believe that there's more to know and I think that you're the best person to ask."
"What made you think that?" Julian asked.
"I heard from Sabrina that you're a good person," Alexander answered, "She doesn't know about what you did to her and I don't want her to know because she'll be very hurt. I'm here today to help you. Whatever you want, just don't hurt Sabrina," he said.
Julian chuckled, "I'm sorry but I'm fine on my own," he answered Alexander, "This is a war between me and that old hag, don't get yourself involved or else I will have no choice but to hurt you too," Julian threatened.
"I'm sorry but threats don't work on me Director Julian," Alexander showed his cold smile. He brought his phone out and pressed on to something. Just a few seconds later, loud voices came from his phone.
"This place is beautiful! Kyaaaaaah!"
"Let's live here mom!"
Alexander showed his phone to Director Walker and his facial expression changed drastically.
"You," Julian pointed at him.
"I have my men scattered around them," Alexander said, "One call from me and you definitely know what's next."
Julian suddenly stood up from his seat and grabbed Alexander's collar, "Don't you dare touch my family," he spoke in gritted teeth.
"I won't if you tell me what I want to know," Alexander answered.
Julian glared at him for a few seconds before he decided to let go. He sat back down and sighed heavily, "Fine," he said, "I'll tell you."
Alexander fixed his collar and made himself comfortable, ready to listen to the story.
This is the key to the truth he needed.
