章 164: Was not safe either

Yu Yaniln felt fear, an alien feeling knife him in the gut. Fear that he wouldn't be able to see his beloved once more. The emotion was visceral and blinding enough that he completely failed to notice the details in his surroundings. 

The armor-clad man charged at him, and Yu Yanlin was ready to counter the blow with Ermei. There was nothing else to be done. However, when the blow came, a barrier of water formed around him and deflected the enlarged fist. 

It was a surprise for his enemy as well. A bestial roar sounded out as he howled to the sky and it gave Yu Yanlin enough time to duck behind a rock, quelling his presence and creating an opening for himself to flee.

He stilled when the armored man began to sniff the ground like an hungered dog, desperate to find his query.
