I ensured that all of my gear was inside of my rucksack before I closed the door to my room inside of the guildhall. We returned to Erana's room for a final check over before we also closed her door and locked it.
…
I want to say something but I'm not quite sure what I should say. Of course, the atmosphere between us is a bit wobbly right now because of the Yimmie event, but it can't stay awkward forever, can it?
"Uh… So…" I began as I started looking around the hallway. "This is neat, isn't it?"
Erana tilted her head as she watched me. "What do you mean?"
"Well it's just that this is kind of like us moving on with our lives, you know?" I asked as I started heading towards the stairs.
Erana followed behind me as she slid her fingers along the stone wall.
"I suppose so…" She muttered as I heard her fingers brush the dust that had accumulated within the crevices of the stone bricks. "This isn't my first time moving out from home though."
Continuing that slice of life. Expect everything until the intermission to be slice of life basically. I'm not exactly sure when things will happen myself. I write chapters until I think they're done. At times I write chapters thinking that they're going to be about something completely different and then bam you got 1600 words between Kenji and Erana chatting about their lives. Neat how it works.
Catch you on the flip side!
