I had just finished my call with Mei Gui...or rather, Xuan Kai. I turned around to look at all the elderly in here who were Intermediate Mages at best. There's no way these seniors will be able to defeat those monsters out there...in fact, I doubt they can even beat me - most of them, anyway. I think there was maybe one or two Advanced Mages, and one early-stage Ancestral Mage, but just this lineup wouldn't be able to get us to the safe zone unharmed. There's my parents and the other girls, too...I wonder how they are all doing. Please be safe, everyone.

Okay, so, the action...kinda started in this chapter? Like uh, Xuan Kai arrived at the scene...okay, no, I'm just making excuses. Sorry for all the cliffhangers! I'm really trying to make this climax as detailed as possible.
I don't know if you all remember the flaming spear of black and red colors mentioned in this chapter, but you can flip back to Volume 4, the final fight of the Advancement Exams, after Xuan Kun morphed into monster form. A flaming javelin came flying out of nowhere and pretty much pinned the monster down. Yeah, the spear here is THAT javelin. It's like Mei Gui's signature weapon. It will also probably maybe likely possibly perhaps evolve in the future, so keep that in mind.
Anyway, that's all from me for now!
