章 127: December 25th
As our school year came to an end, the winter break soon rolled around. Today was December 25th, 2022 - a yearly holiday known as Christmas. Everyone on the planet celebrated it, regardless of race, age, or gender. The history of this event dates back quite a bit, but put simply, it was a festival in memory of the unknown god-like existence who created our world - an entity we had come to call 'Christ'.

Cyclxne Heya guys! Cyclxne here.
Since, after some careful planning, I decided this volume would be too short if I just directly went along with the invasion on the city arc, so I decided to throw in a little something extra here. Don't skip this chapter or the next though! I'm introducing a new companion (and no, this time it's not a harem member...yes, I know it's surprising).
Drop some guesses in the comments as to who you think the companion I'm speaking of is. c; Oh, and keep in mind - earlier in this chapter, I said MOST beasts form temporary contracts - not ALL. Some beasts, the most powerful ones, form eternal contracts, never to accept another master...heh.
