章 49: Idol Fame

The concert was a big event. Nobody really expected it, but the first track started to trend on social media, people came to buy the left over tickets. The staff started selling them and ended with the tickets being sold out.

If it's just about selling the tickets, the concert was already a huge success. But the most important thing just came yet, and that was convince the audience to stay as long term fans for the group.

Sadly, big crowds of people are a magnet to trouble. The concert was no exception.

"Hehehe, how stupid! This crowd is merely cheering this group on, not even noticing our master plan!"

"Yes, we are going to show society how wrong they were for putting the name 'villain' on us, we will show them what despair means!"

"Huehuehue, if they want to blame someone, they should blame these stupids girl for holding such a big concert, don't they know that they are just asking for trouble."

"Yes, I know, uncle. That's why I am here, taking care of scum like you."

"WHA...!"

Before the two idiots could do anything to the concert the wind was knocked out of their chests and they kneeled down because of that, this give Akane the opportunity to axe kick them in the neck, knocking them unconscious. Two ropes appeared on the ceiling, binding them so they couldn't do anything.

"Tch, I really hoped that this shouldn't have happened tonight, but these guys really had to come planning to ruin the party. Well, I don't really care though."

Akane called the security, before disappearing from the location again.

Akane was in the backstage again, trying to check on her girls, when she suddenly heard some loud annoying noises.

It was another idol group that somehow got into backstage and now are talking smack to Kameko and Hoshi not appearing yet, that I pull them up with my success, that they would be more suitable partners for me.

Well time for a fabulous entrance.

"Oh? Are you afraid that we could be more talented than you and you are now trying to threaten us, setting ideas in our brain, to let us perform worse than your already supbar skills."

The leader of the group wanted scream back at her, but something unexpected happened.

"Honestly? Talking smack about us is the same as talking smack about Akane and her coaching,I mean even if we are supposed to be worse than you, don't your little brains understand that your skill are nowhere even near her requirements? If you would join her group she would let you practice nonstop each of her planned steps. We even had to take free from school, just so we had more time to practice. Honestly I don't even know anymore how often I accidentaly danced my feet bleedy, simply because I didn't want to disappoint. But you? You are coming here, bragging about your seniority, that you are better than us and all. But you failed to notice one little thing, no not little, it's literally huge! Akane is superior to you all in an infinite amount of times and no matter who you are, you wouldn't be as more suitable as any other person on the planet. Now piss off, we neither have time to argue, not berate wastes of spaces like you."

Obviously the girl looked like she was going to explode, she activated her quirk, moving a pen to her hand to stab Hoshi. Luckily before anything dangerous could happen the hand was caught in the air and held tightly so it couldn't move.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, the leader of the group has a world class lawyer on her side, I am sure she wouldn't mind pulling some strings to get her mother to help her friends and ruin you and your group. Go ahead if you still have the guts to do that, but only on the option if you coul accept a lifelong debt."

Seeing this girls presence the leader backed off and wanted to go away, but Akane appeared on some ropes hanging from the ceiling, sitting in an elegant pose.

"Thanks you Majeta, for saving Hoshi, pretty sure I had to cancel the show if she was injured, you saved me from a pretty big bind here."

She looked at the girl, opening her eyes, revealing the purple ones. This eye type was currently extremely useful to her, it helped her get information from 'sight', a sense that should be blocked for her. It even helped her in the arcade that day.

"Puh, only exercising for the bare minimum so you can stay in business, objective beauty is only a 6.19?! Strongly self-centered, would stab me if had opportunity, your voice is not versatile at all, showing that you only practiced your 'own' voice and never tried experimenting with it and you just used your quirk illegally."

The girl started to sweat drop in the presence of Akane, her words made her furious, but her gut told her to not work against that girl.

"Piss off from my show and kindly never appear in front of my again, or else there will be consequences."

The girl nodded at the threatening words, before running as fast away as possible, her group following her. Akane sighed, she really felt inclined to physically harm them, but she held back.

'Guess you really are physically merging with us'

She heard Chara, but she ignored it, can't pull attention to her after all.

"Guys did I just see 'PinkGlitter' bolt out of the studio on my way here?"

"Wait Momo, that was the name of that idol group?"

Everyone just nodded.

"You know what, I don't care. Nice seeing you guys, but the stage for the next two track is about to be finished, we must go on stage, see you in about ten minutes!"

And so the next theme was about to play for TOU.

The audience was excited about what could be played next, suddenly the stage was lit, revealing a screen which had a purple wall drawn on it. What surprised everyone was that the stage was empty as the music started to play.

The first thought it was a failed start, but soon Akane appeared and started to hum with the melody.

"This pleasant place are the ruins of a little location, far deep underground,..."

"...long forgotten by humanity, it's very far away."

Suddenly Kameko appeared in a little costume, resembling a frog, it looked very cute though and because it fitted the background so perfectly nobody really cared.

"I challenge you!"

Hoshi appeared on the site of the stage, in the same dress as Akane wore at the first track, apparently being the narrator.

"And so the fight starts!"

The audience couldn't believe what they saw, the girls were going to act, singing, perfectly following the melody, while portraying a role.

It was almost as if they were in a musical, but the actors sang the song in a way that it could have been a pop track, this was so outragious! But the girls did so great that the breath of the audience was taken away.

After a couple of minutes Akane 'defeated' the other girl and continued on her way, singing alone again, with the girls nowhere in sight.

After a while the screen changed to a more homey location and Hoshi and Kameko appeared again, this time Kameko was the narrator and Hoshi the other main singer, as the change happened the music also slowly changed.

"Welcome child, to this warm home, I hope you are healthy and happy, I prepared things for you, so you can have a pleasant stay."

"I hope you are satisfied with the things, I have here, I tried my best, to find things you will need, so please tell me if you are happy."

And so the track continued, Hoshi tried her best to let the audience feel a warm motherly feeling from her singing. This part of the track should feel like a mother adopting a new child, trying their best to take care of them, spoil them, let them feel welcome. It should be a track about motherly love and the two girls did their best to play the roles they assigned themself and Kameko was trying to narrate it.

At the end it was a great success for the audience and they were beyond happy to had a place to listen to such good music.

They continued to listen to this warm and homey melody, but after a while they could feel how it is going to end as the cheerfullness gradually sinks and sinks, right before the cheerful melody turned to a rathre sad one.

It felt like the parting of the mother that knew that their child had to leave the nest once, to experience life themself.

Many people in the audience felt a couple of tears flowing down their cheeks, they really felt a bit sad. The track ended and the girls got a round of applause again.

And so the evening went by with the audience hearing one great track after another, they heard the theme of a casualy lazy person, trying to guide the girl that apparently landed at the beginning of the story.

Many themes were played, many hours were listened in and the audience fell in love with each track, each track was entertaining in it's own way, but none of them seemed to really focus on the main part of the storyline, each track seemed more like a a sidetrack, still fun to explore.

But the audience wasn't satisfied yet, most of them wanted to hear THAT theme, so they requested it, they screamed for an encore, the screamed to hear that particular them, just as Akane planned.

"EEHHHH?! You want to hear that piece from seven years ago?"

A loud and resounding yes came back from the audience.

"Well, I can sing it, I guess, but just know, that track won't get into my album yet, it's going to be just the 14 original tracks we played. Kameko, Hoshi do you two have still enough energy for an encore?"

Both of them answered with a yes back, making the audience cheer loudly.

"Well, here it comes, play 'Save Our Souls'!"

And so Akane started to hum to the melody and the two girls did the same, the first time for the night!

"""Save, our little souls."""

"Hopes and Dreams, burn so bright, we walk on a path we created."

"So let's go, ready set, we will follow our hopes and dreams!"

And the beat dropped. Truly ending this concert with a big bang as its finale.

Crying:

Everyone started crying after hearing the encore of the concert, but most of them for different reasons.

Rumi and Fumio cried, because they were proud of their daughter.

Nemuri and most of the general audience cried, because the concert just ended.

Masa cried, because this was probably the most successful concert in the history if idols.

Momo, Majeta and the QMC cried, because they could hear that music live.

Hoshis' parents cried, because they were proud of their daughter, just like the lesbian couple.

And Masato cried, because he finally could hear the song that saved his life once again, and of course he was proud of his little sister, she made it far in life.
