章 38: Transfer Student
It was a normal day in Akanes' class. Her normal peaceful days of avoiding the crowd returned again. She was kind of happy that it returned to that. So, she chose to do something boldly today. She lay down on her desk and started to daze off. Nobody would suspect anything, because it would just seem like she is slacking off and the teacher for this lesson was pretty nice, so she could probably get away with it and it was currently homeroom, so who would care.
She was dead set on sleeping, until she heard the dreadful sentence.
"Guys, today we will get a transfer student, I hope you all will be as nice to her as you were to Seigi, as she transferred to here."
Murmurs could be heard throughout the class and Akane couldn't care a damn less, it was just a transfer student, nothing bad could happen, right?
Akane kind of thought wrong, she knew the student that would be transferred to Gakkou.
"Hello Mongrels, bath in the glory of the daughter of Germanys famous company Königskrone! Of course, I am a cut above you all and could have easily skipped two or three classes ahead, but I chose to stabilize the foundation of my knowledge and that is why I am here. Consider yourself lucky to have the opportunity to be in my presence!"
Akane just sighed, it was one of the few people that stayed in her memories in her world travel through the world of music.
"I am Majeta Königskrone! And now bow down to me in respect!"
Well, Akane wasn't going to sit in silence and let her brag all about herself without interfering with a few words.
"Majeta, you are surprisingly haughty, despite being in the presence of someone who is better than you."
"Who said that, nobody taunts at me without back - up."
Majeta looked at the girl that completely curb stomped her in music.
"Seigi Akane! What are you doing here?!"
"The exact same as you, taking it easy with life. Now that you have silenced down, would you mind choosing a seat, the class doesn't have an infinite amount of time to listen to your introduction."
The girls looked at each other for a moment, the situation was tense, but before the situation could escalate the teacher jumped in.
"You two know each other, right? A seat is open right next to her, how about you sit next to Seigi, Königskrone? "
The girl just huffed and obediently walked to her seat. She stopped right in front of Akanes desk and looked her right into the face.
"You and me, behind the sports hall, exactly at three in the afternoon, don't you dare come late."
After saying these words, she sat into her newly assigned seat and started to pay attention on the lesson in front of her.
Murmurs could be heard throughout the class and Akane just thought that the situation could be interesting. She smiled and started to chuckle, what would the rich girl try to do to her?

The club activities of the quirk-mystery club currently halted, because 60 percent of the club decided to tease the couple instead of actually doing something productive.
To say the least, the couple was pretty flustered. After the onslaught of teasing Akane stood up.
"Well, girls, I must go, promised a meeting with a haughty princess."
"What? The thing with Königskrone was real? I expected you would just have avoided her, you know, you are pretty skilled in avoiding people."
"I thought she would be interesting to interact with, you know this isn't my first time meeting her, so I thought I wanted to see how much she changed in all these years. Wish me luck, I hope she won't do things that are all too drastic."
With these words she left the clubroom and walked to the promised location, where she met with Majeta.
Akane expected a lot, she expected many things like a declaration of challenge, rivalry, destruction, she expected that she might attack her, brought some goons with her to do some unspeakable things, denied her talent, excusing herself why she lost on that day, but she didn't expect what was in front of her...
...in front of her was a bowing Majeta, asking for forgiveness. Akane really didn't expect this.
"Excuse me? But can you tell me what exactly is going on?"
"Huh? What do you mean what is going on? I am apologizing to you! That is what I am doing!"
"Yeah, I know what you are doing, but you seemed to me as more of a proud girl! You know, someone that wouldn't bow down to anyone to ask for forgiveness!"
She fidgeted a moment, before she found her answer to Akanes exclamation.
"You know, it was kind of your fault, I admit it, I was a very proud girl, as I was the age of six, but after that crushing defeat something changed in me. I overheard you and your teachers' dialogue and felt so ashamed as I heard that you barely broke out a sweat during the contest! I felt anger, frustration and sooner than later, depression came too. I felt something break in me that moment. At first, I only gave up trying in music, but soon one after another I grew worse in each of my trained subjects. Politics and economics, history, geography, religion and ethics, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, art! Even mathematics and German language itself were threatened to be pulled down! I lost my talent in everything, I was scolded, punished, neglected to do better! But I just couldn't, I couldn't, what was the point in me trying to do it? Why should I still continue if I clearly lost my talent in it, why moving on if I can't be good in it, why trying if there is someone better than me? At some point I was very close to be disinherited by the family, very close to losing the name 'Königskrone'..."
The girl's eyes turned blank for a moment, Akane knew that gaze all too well, it was the gaze of someone who gave up, Akane wanted to say something, but Majeta continued her story.
"... after almost losing my name I understood something, after dragging myself to the floor I understood, I can't be the best at everything, nor can I be the absolute best in the world in one thing. I am not the only talent in this world, there are many more people who might be more talented than me, that even put more effort in than me and the moment where I truly understood that my block disappeared, I learned faster, understood faster, comprehended faster, remembered more and felt like I had a deeper understanding of things. It felt like a shackle was removed from me."
Akane nodded at these words, but something confused her about the usage of her words.
"You know, brain capacity and speed doesn't increase just like that, so what are you talking about?"
Majeta laughed.
"Right, right, they really don't. My quirk is a bit of an anomaly in my family, as mine is completely different from the quirk of my family and basically has no connection to it. Well, as a stroke of luck, I heard that I could have been born quirkless, but instead I developed a new quirk during my birth. Its name is 'parallel thought' and I can hold two strings of action almost perfectly in my brain. It's the reason why I am ambidextrous and can multitask so easily. I think after that slope of despair my quirk evolved, but that is of course not the only thing I pulled out of my defeat, I understood how to respect people and put them in my sight, I understood that I am not always the center of attention and that there might be someone better than me."
"You didn't act like you learned that lesson in class."
"Seigi-san, I understood that there are generally three types of reactions people would have after that kind of introduction. The ones that feel challenged by it and want to put me back into my place, the ones that just give up and accept what I just said and the people that are soon afterwards trying to crawl up my ass. The first kind I can easily deal with, there are almost non under my peers that are better than me or could hope to rival, neither in will, nor in knowledge, of course with the exception of you. Even now standing in front of you, I have the feeling, that if I am a queen, you are a goddess and I can't defy you no matter what."
"Go on."
"The second kind is not worth a thought, if you already give up before even trying you aren't even worth considering and the last type, I hate them, shallow ambition, trying to get a part of my success, sucking up to me, 96% probability that they will stab me in my back if the offer is high enough, defiling my body with the first opportunity they have. The remaining four percent are the fools that would fall so deeply in love with me, that even the consideration of betrayal is a sin for them. They would be usable pawns."
"You know even if you tried putting humans in categories and you basically almost covered each type of human with these three types, there are still exceptions beyond them?"
Majeta lifted a fourth finger.
"The ones I can't categorize, whether they just yawn at my action, or just try to get into a conversation with me, to gauge how much I have changed. I can't categorize them, predict them, I can't even think how high their potential worth for me could be! They can turn out to be my knight, my rook, my bishop, even my queen, but they could be potentially nothing of them too, not even a pawn. They are worth observing and could be considered my most worthy resources if they are on my side!"
Akane chuckled at her speech, it started as an apology and now turned to be a job offer, for Akane to be Majetas queen on the board.
"Consider my silence as refusal, I am not interested to be a part of your schemes and if you try to do something funny, I'll end you, understood?"
Majetas spine shivered, she felt threatened by the girl, she understood in that moment that Akane wouldn't be able to be quantified as a normal piece in chest. She would be a 'place me wherever you want piece, there are no restriction, yes even on the king' piece, a piece that she could only use once in a game, a secret trump card you could only use once in a game and if you want to use it again you must wait for another session and manage to convince her again.
She couldn't lose out on this opportunity. She kneeled down in a perfect dogeza and begged Akane, this would be one of the few times where she would lower herself so deep down.
"Please! Me and my siblings are currently in a contest to determine which one from us should inherit the company! We must create our own start-ups and go from there, showing our parents how well we can do in business! I BEG YOU! I want to have the opportunity to use your face for advertisement! I can promise you that you are going to get 20 percent of the profits we make from your face, a onetime contract, and my everlasting support from the company if you need it, providing you with top of the edge technology from our company! I can promise you that if you support me to be the next heir of the Königskrone company!"
Akane stopped in her way, seriously considering her deal.
"Give me 75 percent of the earnings on my face and I'll think about it."
"30 Percent!"
"75."
"35!"
"75."
"40?"
"76!"
"I can give you 62 percent but that really is the limit!"
"70 percent."
"Please I beg you, I really can't go much over 64 percent."
"Okay 25 percent and you will never reveal ANY personal information about me, try to erase every record of my true name that was spread as I travelled across the world and you listen to my ridiculous technology ideas and let some of your company funds flow into the development of them, is that okay?"
"69 PERCENT! Wait, what did you just say, let me remember it for a sec."
After a moment of silence of considering the offer the girl said something again.
"How much company funds? Enough, so I can get my equipment during my debut as a hero."
"You want to be a hero without a quirk?"
"You want to say something against my dreams!?"
The girl shook her head immediately, she didn't want to insult someone like Akane after all. She also accepted the offer about her companies' technology, her ideas can't get that far beyond the state of her companies' secret technology, right?

Yui and the girl, storking the Akane:
"Omg, do you think she will be a famous celebrity after this?"
"Won't they just film her for ONE add?"
"Even if, Akane is so cute and talented! I am sure that she will get famous fast, even if it's just an add."
"Touko, Yui, do you even know Aka?"
"What do you mean, Aki?"
"Well, she is a perfectionist and goes beyond everyone's expectations, I guess she will first try to gain fame, by filming some videos or shoot some images, something like that and then upload it on the internet. Of course, because of her inherit beauty, personality, charm and her handicap, she will quickly gain fame, afterwards she will film the add."
Everyone gulped at the dog girls' words, she was quite airheaded, but there just these times where she just had to be awfully perceptive.
"Girls, was Akita always so perceptive?"
"I don't know, KanKan."
The Shiba Inu girl just laughed and everyone from the club started to sweat.
