章 13: Chapter 13
My back slowly heals, thanks to Radimir's backing earlier on. If he weren't there to help me against Gordra, I would've died already. The Forest Demon is not a Demon to underestimate about.
We both carried Tim's body out of the place where we fought The Forest Demon.. He was still sleeping. He doesn't received much of damage as he is only been possessed, unharmed.
Radimir uses a Vampiric spell, that allows him to conjure blood out of his hands in which eventually turns into flesh tissues, thus healing my back in the process.
The blood flows through his fingers like water, converging through the fresh open claw wounds on my back like wires. I could feel the conversion of the thick blood filling the voids of the wound making flesh in the process.
He controls every single plant life on the Musver Woods if not even throughout the entire Town. As Dawnburry is usually covered in such beautiful trees, taller than the houses around.
But out of luck, I managed to call Radimir right before Gordra reappears to me again. By communicating through our minds, something that I learned when I made friends with Radimir. But it has a certain range, you can't communicate over someone whom are a city away from you.
And it would take a lot of your Mind Energy to unlock this Mind Communication Technique. We are on our way out of The Forest, knowing that the Demon that has been haunting the residents of Dawnburry for years is now finally been vanished.
But as he guides me to walk across the wood, we heard a sudden noise from the trees around us. Like someone dashing through the dark forest, they were too fast to be caught by my eyes. But Radimir catches them in Motion.
He looks down at me as my arms were wrapped around his neck to providing me to stand properly to walk before we stopped.
Radimir : It's a Demon..
His tone were certain straight, confident and yet with braveness.
Radimir : We should hide behind those trees, Lewis.
We immediately sped behind the trees, hiding from the demons we've heard dashing around like Ninjas. They didn't seem to see the two of us, as Demons can see through the night. I didn't know how they didn't noticed us. But I guess its luck that I'm having today.
We stand behind a tall and thick pine trees, motionless, and not wanting to move an inch. It was intense to feel something like this, its like a scene from a Thriller movie or something.
The intensity is high, I am beginning to sweat rapidly as the noises are getting louder and louder by the seconds. But the sounds are coming far away from us, as if they are walking away. And then there came two disturbing voices of two individuals.
"It seems that Gordra wasn't as strong as it I'd hope he'll be. What a *shame* "
It was a voice of a Giant Man, echoing through the woods as they speak.
"Don't be too prideful, Zegorria. It's The Hell Saint that he fought against, not just a normal Mortal." And then A voice of a woman suddenly came to reply to the other Demon beside her.
They seemed to be looking down at the same location of the woods where I banished Gordra back to Hell. I knew that it would left a pattern on the ground. I should've think better.. But doesn't matter this Two demons is seemingly not aware of us hiding behind this tall trees.
But if they do, what on earth are they waiting for?! I am pretty weak right now from the wounds that I've received from Gordra. It should be an easy shot for those two powerful Demons to just grab me and kill me.
"It is the truth, Ozzeria. Gordra is nothing compares to me, I would smash that little brat's head against the depths of Hell. To see how powerful I am to Lord Axsel!" I can tell, that this Demon's pride is he's weakness. I gotta make sure I'll remember that.
"Watch your words, love. Do you even remember how you got this position in Lord Axsel's Knights?" She said to her love, Zegorria. With such a seductive voice of a woman, it wasn't as disturbing as other Demons would have. But I can tell this Demon's speciality is Lust.. She could use her powers to lure us to her.
Or she could be a strong Manipulator, as I've heard from my Uncle that other Demons are experts of Manipulation of words. They can just change your view of the world with only a few words. They can change what your actions are going to be. And I am already aware of that.
But Both of this Demons are strong, they said about this faction called "Lord Axsel's Knights" so that must be The Followers of Axsel.. And they are out here in Dawnburry ready to hunt me down anytime they wanted.
"Its because of my abilities, love. I showed what Lord Axsel I am capable of doing against my opponents. Either they are Angels, Demons like me or The Hell Saint himself. Don't ever tell me, that I married my way in to Lord Axsel's Knights. Because I didn't. You might be the first Demon who joined Lord Axsel's rebellion.. But I am the one who HELPED him takeover the West of Hell."
There voices echoes throughout the Forest, I am not quite sure what they are talking about. But the fact that Lord Axsel had already taken over The Western Kingdom of Hell, was already enough for me.
So Axsel did really rebelled against The Demons in Hell after he killed my parents, it was only the beginning that I am feeling right now. He wants something from me that I have. But I have no clue on what that is.
"We are not talking about this in the middle of this Forest.. We should report what we see to Lord Axsel immediately. And then we can continue this conversation." The lady Demon told to her husband. As they began to vanish in the thin air, dashing out of the forest.
Radimir glares at me as he realizes that those two Demons are gone. He walks slowly towards me, with his hands ready to attack the two demons.
"This is bad, Lewis.. Axsel had already took control of The West of Hell.. It means he must've have an entire Army of Demons down there ready to march up to The Surface.." He whispers to me, I look down upon to myself. Rethinking my own duties as The Hell Saint.
If I die.. Could be Millions of People on Earth could die. Axsel wants something to me, and I wanted to know what that is. My powers are already beyond my knowledge, I needed to train more to be able to defeat this son-of-a-bitch before he could hurt more people on Earth.
And then another noise begins to be heard throughout the entire Forest, but this time it is directly straight in front of us. Like there is something opening.
We heard the loud noise in front of us, like something is coming. He walk slowly away from the noise until we completely runs away from the noise. Radimir tried to dash across the woods whilst holding me on the back to go along with him.
But it suddenly explodes behind us. Like a bomb. Radimir was out cold, unconscious. And I was.. Almost got taken out by that explosion. It was a loud sound of a Cosmic Portal that struck both of us down.
It was light as the Moon, and small enough to fit a Human being inside. And as I crawl towards Radimir to see if he is okay, a shining glowing man appears from the behind. His hands touches my right arm, it was like a touch of innocence and soft.. As if HOPE is guiding me to get up.
And then as I got up on my own feet, my wounds are rapidly healing, as it was already been HEALED. I felt no pain nor a strong and painful sting as I move. Then I look upon this Man's face and I saw...
An Angel staring down at us..
