章 90: The Suitor

Lin Xiaofei looked outside through her window. The rain was still pouring down indiscriminately from last night to this morning.

Relief suddenly passed through her as she thought that there was no way that a shameless man would dare ask her hand for marriage in this kind of weather.

Thinking like this, Lin Xiaofei stood up. She let go of the book in her hand without changing her expression even after being told by her maid that she was reading it upside down.

"Young miss?" Bai Lu watched Lin Xiaofei walking towards the door and she followed her.

"Young Miss, where are you going?" Asked Bai Lu who quickly took a bright parasol to block the rain from touching Lin Xiaofei.

"To grandfather." Said Lin Xiaofei who didn't turn her head to look at the maid as she looked ahead. Her long black hair flowed behind her like a waterfall as the wind picked up.
