I usually steer clear of vampire stories, but I should have known that Mcllorycat would not write a stereotypical book. I am happy I decided to trust her! Chapter 15 and I am hooked. 😊

oh my goodness!!! I knew this story was going to be great just because Mcllorycat's an amazing writer, but this was better than I expected! sad to hit the end of the novel, but I for sure plan on reading it again asking with her other novels!!! once again you have surprised me!!!
I loved the characters and story. The motivations behind the actions are well thought out as well as the characters flaws which they try to overcome.
This was so cute! I wish there was more. I could totally see a bunch of other stories coming out of this universe even if Ruby and Ash’s story is done
I don’t normally read fantasy novels but this one had me captivated. I’ve read a few other pieces by this author and had high hopes for this and it did not disappoint. Especially if you think of this in a human perspective and how topsy turvy human views on things and people that are different than themselves, the subject matter was spot on. I couldn’t put this down!
I don't want to give away any spoilers, I will just how how utterly adorable I found this story. The characters went from goofy and adorable to well rounded and substantial. There are so many laugh out loud hilarious moments. The "power washing" fairy gave me a fit of laughter. I have two small issues with the plot. The main climatic moment was very anticlimactic. It needs more umph or pizzazz to it. It just happens and then nothing. The other thing is the ending. While it is sweet, and I am thankful for a happy ending, it simultaneously seemed to drag out, and seem rushed at the same time. Some of it seems to be unnecessary filler. It is a wonderful story, and I recommend it to anyone. There's eternal love and witty repartee. It's an overall great read!
I love the authors writing style another of her books Hazel in the Demons den brought me to this one. You will want to read everthing she has written.

Your stories are captivating and your characters engaging, and i greatly appreciate that you can manage it all without the need for smut. I’m certain i will love all of your stories, and have most of them added to my library. I’m just not sure i can handle starting them before they are complete, I can’t put them down!
Short but so full of everything a good story needs. From the intricate world created to the fascinating characters, there isn't anything lacking in this tale.

I'd really like to see what's inside Mcllorycat's head for her to keep spinning out these amazing stories. There's not a single fault with her work - the writing, the story development, the characters (OMG the characters), the world background... I'm thoroughly impressed. Her love stories are simple and sweet and very down to Earth. No unnecessary drama, a natural development in their love. It's solid. Do yourself a favor and fangirl/fanboy on the author and her work.

I love it, it's very fun, and I love the characters. It's still to be continued but it's so great so far. What I love most about the two main characters is that they are really great together, they seem to understand one another well despite their differences.

This is my first review, so I am a little unsure about what all I am to include in this, but I will do my best. I am really enjoying this story so far! It is relaxing and fun without a whole lot of drama. It has the feeling of a story that could quickly develop a lot of dramatic conflicts, however. Whether the author decides to go the dramatic route or stick with the slice of life route does not matter to me--I like both types. I just think that it is interesting that both possibilities have been left clearly open at this point. I only gave three stars to World Background because there has not been much world building or backstory yet. I do realize that it is very early in the story and this may change in the future. I will adjust this rating if I decide it needs to be corrected once I am farther along in the story. A great read so far, and I am looking forward to the rest!
I finished reading the Author's past works and I came here to enjoy her new creation. So far so good, the story is smoothly going along, very creative to pair a fairy & a vampire. Can wait to see how this storyline will unfold. I recommend this story as it's interesting, dear Author please keep up with your good work.

I love this book. The story is very interesting and it moves at a good pace. The characters are interesting and there interaction seems very organic, not obviously forced for the sake of the plot. I cannot wait to read more chapters. Give it a try.
