章 7: Twelfth Date: Salamander Von Devil
When I woke up, I was at a unknown forest that I've felt like I've it seen before. The last thing that I remember is that after defeating Daguael by using my Demon God Stage, my heart was hurting like a thousands knife had stabbed it and then I faint after a few second afterwards. How did I end up here? Anyway now is not the time to think, I need to look for help, maybe there's a native tribe somewhere nearby.
After walking endlessly, I've finally reach a white gold castle with a gate that is locked by a chain of fire, but to my suprise the gate has unlock itself when I walk towards it. The owner of this castle must have want me to come in, this might be a trap, but there's nothing to lose now. I walked inside the castle and see that it was beautifully decorated. The entire castle was made with blood diamond, and the surrounding furnitures was made from diamonds and golds. It was like one of those from a folk tale or fairy tale that I'd been reading ever since I was young.
"Welcome to my home young man. Or should I say my reincarnation?", a male voice asked.
The man approaching looks like he's in his mid 30s, he was dressed in a black suit with a red dress shirt, black tie and dress shoes. He has blood red hair and a magic circle on each upper side of his palm. Wait, did he say reincarnation? Could he be....
"Um, sir may I know what your name is? I'm Terrence Li.", I asked politely.
"Don't you already know the answer to that question?'", he smile and replied.
"You..you are Salamander Von Devil. My first life and also the Creator of The Underworld.",
"That's right boy. I'm you and you're me. You must be wondering where you are right?"
I nodded.
"You're inside my part of your heart. Since we shared the same blood, you can considered that you and I shared the same body, but we have different heart. I'm not saying we have two hearts, what I'm saying is that by fusing with Eclipse earlier, you have damaged your souls and I'm now using my powers to repair it and the space we are in right now is inside my soul. That's right, you have two souls in your body, yours and mine. The reason why you are able to hold onto the notebook for a long time without losing your mind is because I've been the one that had been controlling it since the moment you touched the notebook. I know this is alot to take in and I know you want a normal life, but since they've discover that you have my powers, they'll hunt you down again, so you have to fight. Will you help me defeat them? I begged you." *Kneel down*
"Senior what are you doing? Get up. The moment I first use the notebook, I already knows that there's a secret behind it. If I'm not willing to defeat them why didn't I run when Daguael ambush me." I replied.
"Thank you young man. Thank you.", Salamander said in tears.
"What's important now is repairing my soul so I could fight again,but without fusing with Eclipse then how can I fight them?"
"You must fully become a Demon God." he smiled. "Right now you just have a certain amount of my blood in you so you can only be considered as a mortal with some demonic powers
"How can I fully become one?", I asked.
"You can either get stronger by cultivating like I did when I was your age or you could fuse Eclipse. I recommend you to cultivate like me because the next time you fuse with Eclipse with a ordinary body, your soul might be destroyed completely. So what will it be?"
"I choose cultivation."
"Very well, now I shall explain the stages of cultivation.
1st is Yin Qi-Capturing Stage.
2nd is Demonic Core-Creation Stage.
3rd is Demonic Blood Core Stage.
4th is Demonic Soul-Formation Stage.
5th is Demon Stage
6th is Demon Lord Stage
7th is Demon Duke Stage
8th is Demon Emperor Stage
9th is Demon Ancestor Stage
Last, but not least is the 10th and strongest stage. Demon God Stage."
Yin Qi-Capturing Stage has 10 layers to breakthrough before you can ascend to the next stage.
The rest are just 6 layers. An ordinary mortal must take at least 1000 years to reach the Demon Stage. I'm afraid we don't have that much time though. That reaper that you killed was at the 6th layer of Demon Stage, and Rosie's father is probably at the Demon Duke Stage by now." he continued.
"How did you know Rosie's dad is at Demon Duke Stage?", I asked.
"That is because he was my first and only disciple." Salamander frowned.
The leader of Dark Light is Salamander Von Devil's disciple? No wonder he's so strong.
"Dark Light was orginally an organization I created to protect the Underworld. I've lead it to protected the Underworld for thousands of years and the strongest one under me was my first disciple. His name was Lupus Von Devil. He was talented, kind, and respected by many. I have taught him all my cultivation techniques and treated him as my son. Unfortunately, his greed for powers has taken over his heart and made him a heartless monster who wants to get stronger regarding the method. I've seen this and already warned him to stopped, but he won't listen. Instead he blamed me for not teaching him my ultimate cultivation technique. He tried to attack me, but fail so he bribed everyone in Dark Light into poisoning me. And that's how I died, the only reason why I was reincarnated into your body its because of that Ultimate Cultivation Technique. It is call Endless Sins Rebirth. This basically let the cultivator being reincarnated as many times as they want, but at the cost of reducing their cultivation and strength by a certain amount everytime they uses it. During the past 100,000 years I've been reincarnated for 999 times and you're my 1000. The reason why our cultivation is so weak right now is because during my previous 999 lives everything has been peaceful so there's no need for cultivation thats why I've been getting weaker as time passes."
"Before I died, I created two forbidden relic with immense powers just so they can be useful if the Underworld will face any crisis in the future. The first one is a notebook that can bring whatever is written in it into reality. The second item is a stone that can increase the speed of ones cultivation by 100 times. The first item is called Eclipse, which you already had in your hand, and the second one is called The Bloody Moon. You already possess Eclipse, now you just have to find The Bloody Moon. I've sealed Eclipse inside Dark Light deepest chamber and this require you to solve 5 different puzzles to unlock, just so no one can touch it,but suprisingly Rosalyn has managed discovered it and unlock the seal and retrieve it. As for The Bloody Moon, I've given it to a mortal friend of mine to keep it safe, but he passed away a long time ago and took Blood Moon with him. Luckily, I manage to track it down. It is located in the New World Museum just 1000 miles away from your house."
"So you want me to go rob a museum?", I asked.
"I wouldn't called it robbing since its originally created by us.So we are just taking back what ours."he said smiled.
Easy for you to say, you're not the one that's robbing it. I am. And if I got caught then this face will be wanted worldwide. Oh god, I don't have a choice here. Its either steal and live or choose honor and die.
"Anyway your souls has been repair completely, so here's a couple beginner's techniques. Death Enlightment Sutra for cultivation and Air-Shattering Palm for attacks. Cultivate them well.",Salamander said.
"Call me when you need me kiddo. If I can be there then I'll be there".
"In the mean time. Its time to wake up sunshine.", he smile.
