章 72: A strange girl
Kanaru opened the door to his room ignoring her.
"Wait! Wait! I can smell a lot of food on you! " The girl dressed as a nun exclaimed.
"Meow!" The cat that was now on her head meowed just as loudly as she did.
She was about to collide with him.
Kanaru turned and reached out with her right hand to stop her.
He held her forehead, stopping her.
"Stop there." He said in a neutral tone.
The cat jumped from the girl's head to Kanaru's head.
"Curry, beef, hamburger, pizza..." She continued describing many food names as she was held by him.
Kanaru was surprised to hear the names of those specific foods. After all, those foods...
"Those foods are stored in my world." He thought.
Kanaru had a habit of storing many things in his world, from everyday objects to complex weapons of destruction. Of course, he also had food stored there.
"Meow!"
The cat settled on Kanaru's head.
"Sphynx, traitor!" She exclaimed.
"I'm hungry too!" She added.
"You may come in." He said.
"Hey? Really!?" She asked happily. Her eyes seemed to turn into shining stars.
Kanaru released her and he allowed her to enter his room.
"Isn't she too vulnerable?" Kanaru thought as he watched her enter her room.

The girl dressed as a nun, Index, looked at the gray-haired youth with dark patterns curiously.
He was a guy who exuded an aura of calm and serenity.
Even though she couldn't use mana, she could feel something strange located in his head and it was something related to the world of magic. But despite the knowledge they had of the 103,000 grimoires, she didn't know the exact reason for Kanaru's strange condition.
"Is he a magician?" She muttered.

He was in the middle of a table with 5 chairs.
He indicated that she sits on one of them.
She did it.
"Sphynx seems to be very comfortable next to him, so he must not be a bad person!" She thought
"I'm an esper who can use a little magic, but I'm not a magician..." Kanaru said.
He snapped his fingers.
*CRACK*
A pizza box came out of a small space crack.
"...and my name is Hikari Kanaru." He said.
His eyes were yellow and shaped like stars.
There was something on her mind that surprised him a lot.
"You know, coincidences in this world are scary." He added with a smile.
Although his appearance was a bit strange with a cat on his head.
