Ariana playfully raised her brows at Marcus when she learned that her doctor did a thorough checkup on her. She couldn't remember how she acquired those wounds but Zion and Mr. Black mentioned that she was once involved in an accident that left her with many wounds.

She can directly tell him that it was an accident but why should she? Ariana was not in the mood to play close friends with Marcus when in fact they are the opposite. 

"Well, you have a point." Marcus didn't press on the matter. "Being a thug is indeed not a thing to be proud of." Marcus gave out a sly look.

"I am not!" The woman hissed. "Whatever." She rolled her eyes and lay beside Eli. "I rather sleep than argue with you." She muttered loud enough for Marcus to hear.
