章 227: CHAPTER 227: A FAMILY?

"You--- you don't love me anymore!" Ms. Stanford cried with tears falling down her cheeks. 

Her husband slapped her hard that she went speechless for a minute or two. She was so shocked that her ears couldn't hear what her husband was saying. Seems like her brain is in a jumble of the impact she received.

She could no longer bear the pain and the embarrassment so she shouted at her husband and left not caring what he has been saying for minutes. 

The office people caught sight of Ms. Stanford humiliated by her husband in front of a few personnel. But most of them felt happy to see her running while crying. She was so arrogant that almost all the employees hated her. 

Everybody knew she always causes trouble, in and out. She's a total embarrassment for the company. However, this was the only time they saw their CEO fume in anger to the point of harming his beloved wife. She must have done something awful, really serious to merit her husband's wrath.
