章 185: CHAPTER 185: FAITH

He was just teasing the woman but seeing how cute her reactions are, Marcus couldn't help but play a little more. 

However, Jade is very gullible that she helplessly gave in to his taunting. 

Marcus celebrated within him but seeing how restless the woman is, he decided to strike a conversation. 

"Jade..." He called out her name. She, in turn, looks at the man who sat beside her. "I may not have a memory of you but I have faith on this picture." He reaches the frame that contains their wedding picture which was placed on top of the bedside table. "My father is living with us while your mother occupies the empty room. Do you want me to look bad in their eyes?" 

Damn it! Is that the only reason you came up with, Marcus? Too lame! He cursed within him because he is actually trying to find the right reason to keep her in their room, for good. 

Marcus sighed before facing the woman who looks very much confused.
