章 276: Wasn't It What She Wanted?

Ever since the first time Shouko brought out divorce, they argued almost every day. 

Mostly, it's a one-sided argument since whenever Shouko lashed out, Kyoya would just quietly accept her fury. Sometimes, he would hold her. At other times, he would keep a distance while looking at her. 

Shouko was deeply frustrated.

She wanted him to hate her, to finally let her go from his life but he would have none of it. Every time she exhausted herself after venting out her fury to him, he would patiently say that he would never let her go.

Divorce wouldn't exist in their marriage life.

Every time she wanted to hurl more painful words, she couldn't bring herself to do it. As much as she wanted him to hate her, she ironically reluctant to be hated by him. Her conflicted feelings further wrecked the fragile state of her mind.
