Yiling stood in front of Lijuan's bedroom door and shut her eyes tightly as she tried to make up her mind on what to do. Her conversation with the lady earlier kept flashing in her brain.

"I'm not asking you to do much. It's not like you are killing anyone." The lady had said as she raised a proud shoulder. 

"Why do you seem so sure I wouldn't tell her about this?" Yiling asked. 

"I know you won't. You need the money. And I'm offering you, a lot of money."

"I just need to know what Mei Lijuan is up to. What she is doing or planning to do, where she is going to, and how her relationship with Wang Yun is going. Just that and I'll pay you really well!" The lady said with a convincing smile.

Yiling knew she would be lying to herself if she said she wasn't tempted by the offer. She only had to report Lijuan's movements and she would be paid handsomely. But she also didn't think that was just it. She was sure the lady had other plans.
