章 33: A week with hubby

It was 11:15 a.m. Rachel looked out her window at the busy world. Many people didn't like Mondays because of all the busyness they brought with them, but Mondays were her favourite day of the week. Because everyone was suddenly serious and focused on their lives. But as she looked out right now, she realized she didn't like this Monday in particular. Maybe it was absurd for her to worry about her lonely life since she wasn't even 18 yet, but she could not help worrying that there was something wrong with her.

She didn't even care about the guys' looks or their financial status; she only wanted a guy who would like her and not suddenly ditch her before their date. Was that too much to ask?

She blamed it all on her brother. He had to be the jinx responsible for this. Everything usually went well until she told Peter and his idiot friend about it, out of over-excitement, and all of a sudden, things would turn out terribly.
