章 76: Realization

"Good morning." 

A chirpy voice greeted the only person who was in the spacious hall. It was already noon when Lillian headed downstairs to the dining hall. She wasn't hoping to get joined by anyone, but she was somewhat pleased seeing Blake occupying the head chair at the table.

"What are you doing here?" She was staring at the back of the newspaper which Blake had splayed open before his face. 

"I didn't expect to see you here. Especially not at this hour." She shared her thoughts with him as she joined him on the table. "I took you for someone who'd wake up early." She continued rambling on even though she didn't get a reply from him. 

Though the other person couldn't tolerate her non-stop talking for long, and her enthusiastic words were met by a grumpy, annoyed reply.
