bei ruolan was amused seeing the twins trying their best to chat with her husband.
gu meixu had seen mamy types of men before and none of them act like rong longwei. other men would try to bootlick her with sweet words but this husband of their sister ruo acted casual.
"since you are sister ruo's husband, we are your sisters too so if we ever get bullied, we will use your name!" gu meixu smiled widely.
rong longwei felt that this twins were too innocent and were sheltered by gu yufan since kids. they didn't even know how harsh the world is.
"you two often get bullied?"
the twins were stunned. they pursed their lips with painful faces .
bei rujian sighed, "those two were way too innocents and they were often get bullied. however none of their bulliers ever get slipped from uncle gu's wrath"
bei ruolan stared at her cousins. "ling, xu, my mom have passed away. she can protect you from the bullies if she still alive but now she's gone. you two are the candidates to be the future head of the family, there are many of our relatives itching for you to die so that they can dispose you from being the next future head of the family"
gu meiling and gu meixu heads drooped.
"alright. lets not be emotional, lets have dinner, OK?" rong longwei speak up.
bei ruolan nodded and stood up. "just try to defend yourself" she patted the twins' shoulders.
rong longwei pulled her hand and dragged her to the dining table and made her sat beside him.
"I still have things to settle with you after dinner" rong longwei whispered to her before giving her her rice bowl.
bei ruolan was confused. settle things? why does it sounds like he was declaring a war?
sun xiaji went to the dining table and sat on the opposite side of bei ruolan. "Eh, where is your assistant and bodyguard?" he finally realize that yang guchen and firefox suddenly gone to nowhere.
bei ruolan and rong longwei also confused. where did they go?
"are you talking about that extravagantly cute man and angelic handsome ninja?" gu meixu supported her chin on the dining table using her hands. her eyes were glowing as if its so amazing.
bei ruolan almost get choked hearing her cousin's exaggerating comments.
"yang guchen is the cute one and firefox is the angelic ninja?" bei zhengyu also felt its hilarious. those men completely hidden their dark sides from the twins.
bei zhuang shook his head, "they told me that they went back home"
Gu meiling nudged her sister, "there's no way that assistant is cute, he is cool and his gaze...its burning fiercely!"
bei ruolan hold her laughter. the calm and innocent yang guchen has a burning gaze?
the dinner was full of laughter and jokes of the twins.
bei ruolan and rong longwei volunteered to do the dishes so they were left alone i the kitchen while the rest went to the living room.
rong longwei was standing beside his wife infront of a sink.
"what matters you want to settle with me?" bei ruolan asked the question that have been bothering you throughout the dinner.
"I want to read the love letters" rong longwei took the washed bowls to the drier.
bei ruolan turned off the pipe and dried her hands. "no, you can't"
rong longwei raised his brows. he dried his hands and shot her a look. "I'm already your husband but I can't even read the letters you wrote for me?"
bei ruolan mouth twitched hearing his words. there's no way she would let him embarrassing herself! she wrote those letters when she's a teenager and its full of childish words in it!
