章 139: Wonderful Night

"Coffee please." She mumbled. Her stomach can't handle to drink some sort of alcoholic drinks at three o'clock in the morning.

The frown on his face deepened. He must be thinking she was crazy for choosing to drink a hot cup of coffee at this ungodly hour. But she did not said what she was expecting to hear. Instead he said something which was far in her mind.

"You sounded like my wife." He said in a tone filled with amusement which surprised her. "She's a coffeeholic too." He added and for the firs time a smile filled with tenderness sprung on his lips. Her heart burst with tenderness after seeing his face brightened. Gone was the serious lool on his face.

He walk to his mini bar and prepared a hot cup of coffee from the coffeemaker. When he was done he ushered her to sit down on the single sofa. Her feet sunk on the feathery softness of the red carpet as she made her way. After she occupied the seat, he placed the burning hot coffee on the glass table.
