章 98: "You Are Not Welcome!"

Inside the manor, no one was aware of Lin Xiulan's crazy thoughts. If they were, they would have been quite upset.

Lu Nanfeng had indeed dated her for a time, but they had broken up. He was not her man any longer, and the reason for the breakup was her own fault. 

The dinner ended well, He Lixue was heaving a deep breath of relief because she could feel that Master Lu was not hostile towards her, and while Madam Lu was still not fond of her, it was quite reasonable for mothers-in-law to dislike their daughters-in-law.

After finishing the meal, Di Zhiqing could not wait to send He Lixue and Lu Nanfeng away. She was frustrated and angry, and Master Lu was sighing resignedly when looking at her unhappy face.

"Well, then we better call it for a day," he said as he looked at Lu Nanfeng and He Lixue. Both of them nodded their heads and walked hand in hand out of the sitting room, heading for the front door.
