章 94: Third Chunin Exams Part-3
Saya POV
After saito and hinata came back I challenged them that I would bring back more flags than them. I took shinobu's hand and forced her to go with me instantly.
once we left the base I used Wind element magic which acts as a GPS and senses everything within the area of 3 kilometers.
I soon found a team having their own base and 2 flags. I took shinobu's hand and shun shin'ed to their position. The entrance to their base was to go through rocks and enter a hidden underground bunker.
a few chakra beasts were lingering around as well. once they detected us the chakra beasts which were oversized beetles attacked us.
I made a few handsigns and used Lightning release: Howling Wolf. lightning shot from my hands in the form of wolves and shinobu used Water Release: Water Bullet to enhance my attack.
the attack roasted all the 3 chakra beasts who were going to attack us though this little confrontation alerted the enemy team. 1 of their teammate came to scout thinking the chakra beast either killed us but was sorely wrong. I quickly unsheathed my sword and cut his neck, beheading him.
Then we entered the hideout and just as we were about to open a door a voice spoke from behind the door," oye, tanbaru, what was that voice earlier? did you found anything?" just as the female voice we identified was about to open the door I attacked the door with Lightning Release: Ultra Lightning Ball, a ball as big as the door made of pure lightning came into existence and destroyed the door and the nearby surroundings, thus killing the girl.
"What?" another shout came from behind the door, the last of the team member spoke in shock.
"Ninjutsu: Poisonous Mist" a purple mist came out of shinobu containing paralyzing content within it. once we heard the sound of something falling which was most probably the last team member which I confirmed with sensory abilities, shinobu used wind release to disipitate the mist.
Once we entered the room after the poisonous mist cleared, we found a boy double our age paralyzed near the couch. we checked around this hideout and found that our was the better one as we have Saito who used his advanced fuinjutsu and Null Magic to create different things.
We found that this group had 2 flags. One of the was Blue in color and had the number 2 on it. While the other one was Red in color and had number 1 on it. with just the blue flag we can easily win this little exam and take the last one but we need at least one of the green flag to be out of this boring exam. I want to have bath in my own house and certainly not this place.
once we took the flags from their position we left the hideout and went to meet out group in our own hideout.
Saito POV
Saya came back with two flags and a shit eating grin on her face as she entered the main hall and said," I told you that I would bring 2 flags and here I am and look I even got the last of the blue series and another from red. Now we just need one from the green one and no one except our team would become the winner and be promoted to Chunin rank, thus, leaving D-rank mission. Now praise me"
I patted her head and said," yeah, you were right. I will go out after an hour or two to get other flag and we will be done with this chunin exam." then I took the flags and placed them in their positions.
once the blue flag went to it's designated hole (no pun intended) all the blue flags started shining along with their poles.
now we are one step away from completing this completion.
