章 91: Chapter 91 A Talisman At Play

As Thomas exited the building he was immediately surrounded by guards from Meta as they shouted "We have you surrounded, come with us peacefully and we will do you no harm." Thomas stared at them all as he mumbled "I even took precautions." As Thomas stared at them all he realized that he wasn't wearing the cloak anymore since he took it off after falling from the tree. The guards began to approach Thomas with a piece of paper and something written on it and a few spears and shields. As Daisy walked out of the building she noticed all of the guards and the paper that the guard was holding. Thomas glanced at Daisy and then back at the guards as he mumbled "Of all the times we had to deal with these guards." Daisy pointed to the piece of paper as she shouted "Don't let them put that on you!" Thomas glanced at her and asked "What's so special about some paper?" As Daisy continued to shout warnings the guard slapped the paper onto Thomas's back. Thomas turned to the guard and immediately punched him knocking him out completely. As one of the guards shouted "The talisman is in place quickly capture him!" All of the guards began to charge at Thomas all at once. Thomas glared at them all as he said "I don't got time for this." As Thomas attempted to teleport he stood their confused. As Thomas continued to try and teleport Daisy shouted "They stuck a talisman to you to prevent your use of magic!" Thomas glanced at the guards and then at Daisy as he mumbled "No magic?" Daisy pointed towards an alley way as she shouted "All of your magic will be halved and your teleportation won't work so make a run for it!" Thomas shrugged as he avoided one of the incoming spears and asked "Can't I just take it off?" Daisy pointed to the talisman as she shouted "That talisman works the same as a seal you can't just remove it!" Thomas grabbed the spear and pulled the guard closer as he head butted him and said "Then I'll stay until I find out if one of these guys can remove it." Daisy began to run into the building as she shouted "Stay right their I'll get Ocis!" Thomas continued to fight them as he mumbled "I have this big of a handicap and they still can't beat me." Thomas glanced behind him and seen three men with swords and shields approaching him from behind as they shouted "All at once!" Thomas glared at them as he mumbled "From What Daisy said "I'll still be able to use magic it'll just be a way weaker version." Thomas quickly put his hand onto the ground and shouted "Blaze." As the fire hit the ground it quickly bounced off of the ground and into every direction. Thomas stood up and began to breathe heavily as he mumbled "I poured more than half of my mana into that pathetic display?" Thomas stood their as the guards began to surround him as he seen Ocis fly through the air above him. Thomas watched as Ocis flew through the sky as he smiled and mumbled "Don't bother theirs not enough time to help me." Thomas glanced at all of the guards surrounding him as he said "Just because I know I'm beat doesn't mean I'm gonna give up." Thomas stared at all of the guards as he mumbled "I might be able to take a few out but I won't be able to escape." Thomas glanced back at Ocis as he smiled and yelled "Don't worry about me!" Ocis flew down to Daisy as she said "He said not to worry about him." Daisy pointed to the crowd as she said "Don't listen to him he can hardly use his magic right now so he can't just teleport away to avoid the fight." Ocis stared at the crowd as she asked "How we suppose to save him?" Daisy stood their as she thought about it and said "They probably won't kill him here they'll probably take him back to the kingdom and do a public execution to make an example of him." As they talked Thomas continued to fight his way through the seemingly endless amount of guards. Thomas grabbed one of their spears as he pushed it into the ground and sent himself into the air. Thomas looked around himself and seen the horde of guards surrounding him as he mumbled "These odds are definitely stacked against me." As Thomas came back down he landed on top of one of the guards as he laid on top of him and muttered "I surrender." The guards raised their spears to him as he laid their and asked "Did you not hear me?" Thomas pushed one of the spears away from his face as he said "I surrender." As the guards took a step back from Thomas they made a path for a man who was carrying three large metal balls in a cart. They took them out one by one and chained them to Thomas's legs as they pulled out a paper and said "We are here to arrest you for the crime of kidnapping the princess." Thomas grabbed the paper and stared at it. He put the paper down and seen three spears in his face as he said "I can't use my translation magic either." The guard swiped the paper back as he said "Quit doing as you please." Thomas shrugged as he said "I don't think that's doable." The guard put the spear to Thomas's throat as he said "Do not temp me." Thomas smiled as he said "Your gonna kill me anyway, so what's the difference if it's here and now or later and somewhere else?" The guard lowered his spear as he shouted "Bring the cart around and board the prisoner!" Thomas glared at the guards as he said "I get my own personal escort." Most of the guards began to clear out as the cart and towns people gathered around and watched as the guards stood around Thomas. Lily and Ocis stared at Thomas as Ocis whispered to him "Hurry up and fly away." Thomas stared at her as he said "I can't fly." Ocis stared at him as she said "Sorry I forgot." Thomas stared at her as he mumbled "Is she just messing with me or is she seriously forgetting?" Thomas glanced at the guards as they pulled a pair of metal cuffs out of the cart and put them on him as he mumbled "Isn't this a bit much?" The guards glanced at the people as they shouted "Move along we're just transporting a criminal." Thomas glanced at Daisy and Ocis as he whispered "Sorry I can't make it to the next town with you guys." As the guards approached Thomas they put a hand on his shoulder and said "Stop talking to the civilians." Thomas glanced at him as he mumbled "How does he not realize that I'm talking to the princess?" The guard pulled Thomas away as he said "Where your going their is no return." As the guards brung the cart with a cage in the back of it they said "We hope you had fun causing the world problems because after this you won't be able to see the world." Thomas said nothing as he noticed Scarlett in the crowd. Thomas walked towards her dragging the metal balls as he whispered "Don't do anything reckless." Scarlett nodded as she said "I will wait until the time is right." Thomas stared at her as he said "Don't bother." As the guards opened the cage they pulled Thomas towards the cart and put spears to his back as they said "Get in the cart so we can transport you back to Meta." Thomas looked up at the sky and seen the sun as he said "Nice weather we're having isn't it?" The guards poked Thomas with the spear as they said "Enough nonsense get in the cart already." Thomas glanced behind him and smiled as he said "Guess this is goodbye." As Thomas got into the cart they shut the door and said "The world would be better off without trash like you." Thomas glanced at the door as his smile faded he muttered "I'm sure their adventures will be better off without me causing them problems." Thomas sighed as he tilted his head back and stared at the roof of the cart and asked "How long until we're at the kingdom?" The guards ignored him as he said "Guess it shouldn't matter if I sleep then." Daisy, Scarlett, and Ocis all watched as the cart left as they looked at each other and said "We have to go after him." Scarlett nodded as she said "I'm gonna go get Lily you guys should prepare for the journey." As Scarlett ran off Mason approaches Daisy and Ocis as he said "I'd like to help you." They stared at him confused as they asked "Who are you?" Mason smiled as he said "I'm another person wanted by the king for something ridiculous."
