章 148: 148. Game from the Bench

As they drove back, Rei looked out the window. Narumi suddenly said, "How are you feeling, Rei?" 

Rei nodded and replied, "I'm fine, aunty. Everything is going well. I can play baseball again, and that is what matters the most." Narumi continued to drive, and they finally reached home. 

Narumi parked the car and both of them got out. Going inside, Narumi went to the kitchen to start cooking while Rei went into the living room to see Sora eating the buns he brought earlier. 

Rei sat beside him and took a bum from the cover and munched on it. Sora looked at Rei and asked, "Do you have plans tomorrow?" 

Rei gulped the food in his mouth and said, "Nothing much. Tomorrow we play Teigo once again, but I'm mostly not in the starting line-up and will be on the bench most of the time. After the match, I promised Keiko that I will visit the art exhibition with Mizuki. Her painting is being displayed there."
