Lillian sat on the table, waiting for the arrival of the king as they had announced.
"What if your plan does not work, fairy godmother," Roman asked, standing behind her.
"I am just relying on you, your highness," Lillian said, looking at him with a smile on her face. "Do you doubt your abilities?"
"I question them." He said sighing. "What is that man thinking?"
"He does not necessarily have to wed them." She said, thinking for a second. "So that is why he visited them only so often. He is a strange one, if I am being honest. Coming to see me so often."
A while ago,
"The king will be joining you for afternoon tea." A maid came in and announced. "He said that he will do this for the next weeks."
"Thank you." Lillian nodded at her as she walked out of the door.
"So often?" Fawn asked, almost taken aback. "He only visited the other women once a week. Sometimes once in two weeks."
