"You," Lillian said, looking at him. "What is it that you really want?"
"I think you would have guessed it by now." He said, grinning at Lillian as he took the seat beside her.
"Yes, But you know that this will only be for the moment we get married," Lillian said, frowning.
"Do you intend to divorce me once this marking is gone?" He asked still oozing confident that really annoyed Lillian.
"Perhaps. I will get to keep my life and you will also get what you want, approval of the people."
"I do not care about the people." He frowned. "But their opinions do matter, don't they. Well, I am not very interested in you either, so this can work well for the both of us."
"You are not planning to kill me on the wedding night, are you?" Lillian asked raising an eyebrow at him.
"No." He said, straight face. "That will be too suspicious and it will lead to even more suspicions on me. I will wait a month or two."
